Did waston quit making the green 10/650?this is what my pharmacist told me when I got my last script, gave me a flat white pill that does nothing to relieve my pain. ## HI, Flash! Sorry that you're so miserable, I do understand. There are actually two issues at play here…. The first is that Watson had some issues with customers being sensitive/allergic to the dyes in their products, so they have been changing them to remove the dyes and, while they claim that is the only change that's been made, many people are complaining that they are no longer effective at treating pain. The second issue is that due to concerns over overdose toxicity and the possibility of liver damage from long term use of high amounts, the FDA has requested that all manufacturers lower the amount of Ac... ...

What is the difference between Watson white 10 / 650 and the green Watson 10 / 650 ## The first notable difference is that Watson 825 contains oxycodone hydrochloride, while Watson 503 contains oxycodone bitartrate. I'm assuming that this is what effects the overall absorption rate of the drug itself. Another difference is that each of these pills contain a different composition of inactive ingredients (binders/fillers) that may also have an impact on how efficiently the drug is metabolized. In addition to that, both of these tablets are generic versions. The FDA permits generic meds to contain up to 20% more or less of the actual active ingredient. So if one tablet has -20% and the other has +20%, that's a 40% difference in dosages; and for some people this probably feels equiv... ...

light green watson 503 ## This is generic Lorcet, Lortab, Vicodin. It has 10mg of hydrocodone, (addictive and strong narcotic pain killer), and 650mg of acetaminophen (Tylenol.) It is used for moderate to severe pain and can cause constipation, stomach aches, (especially if taken without food), euphoria, marked drowsiness, dizziness. ## A note that I want to add here is that as of 2013, the FDA has made a request that all manufacturers lower the amount of Acetaminophen in these combination prescription products to no more than 325mgs per dose. There are major concerns about the dangers of liver damage and failure that can be associated with long-term use of high amounts, as well as the toxicity of overdose. Some manufacturers have already begun to implement the change and the rest are e... ...
