I found a green oblong pill with the word WATSON on one side and on the opposite side there is a line down the middle with the numbers 396 on the left side and 25/650 on the right side. What is the pill and what is it for? ## This is a Talacen tablet, it contains 650mgs of Acetaminophen and 25mgs of Pentazocine, a strong narcotic pain reliever. watson 396 25 650 green ## what is this pill!!! my dog started to eat it he found it in my front yard! ## Watson Pharmaceuticals lists this tablet as containing 650mgs of Acetaminophen, and 25mgs of Pentazocine, it is a narcotic pain reliever. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. It should be noted, that this dosage is no longer available, since the FDA now restricts combination prescription medications to containing no more than 325mgs of Acetaminophen per dosage.
