The Watson yellow 853 Hydrocodone are stronger than the white ones. As each of you know taken these neither are really strong compared to other types of pain pills. I have Fibro, along with so much more. I have a MVP heart problem so if these pills were strong I could not take them,. Some days I Can hardly move. Since the FDA has past that new law my Doctor is now sending me to a pain clinic. Maybe shots will help or what ever takes place at a pain clinic. ## Hello, Bab! How are you? No worries people, the yellow 853 are exactly the same as the white one's, JUST NO DYE ## For anyone else wondering, I can also confirm that "dye" is the only thing separating these two pills. I've been taking the Watson 853 yellow hydro /acetaminophen for several years. I get them from a well known pharmacy company. My most recent script was filled and I noticed the color was white, even though the markings of Watson 853 are identical to the light yellow pill. There was a huge difference in side effects with the new pill; constipation, dry mouth, and a little nasal congestion that I typically get from preservatives like sulfites. Many people get these symptoms when taking narcotics, but I have been fortunate with the hydrocodone as it has never affected me that way (oxycodone does however) I called the pharmacist and he said he couldn't get the yellow tabs anymore but wouldn't say one way or the other whether the formulation or fillers in the white pill differ fr...

is the yellow pill watson 853 as strong as the blue watson 540 ## The tablet with the WATSON 853 marking contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 10mgs of Hydrocodone. The tablet with the WATSON 540 contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen and 10mgs of Hydrocodone. So, they both contain the same amount of the active narcotic, Hydrocodone, but they do not contain the same amount of Acetaminophen, which improves the effect of the narcotic. I had found a white oval in shape, markings read; Watson with the numbers 853 under the word watson on the same side. It's also round, not oblong in shape. However there are some pain pills that are white and oblong, including Watson 388 (Hydrocodone 2.5mg + Acetaminophen 500mg) as well as Watson 853 (Hydrocodone bitartrate 10mg + Acetaminophen 325mg). Is there any chance you may have misinterpreted the imprint based on its physical condition? Hope this helps!

I was given a different brand of hydrocodone/acetaminophen 10-325 by MFG AMNEAL, instead of my regular brand watson 10-325 I was told that my pharmacy wouldnt carry watson brand after the fact of giving me the new generic brand.
