Vyvanse Drug Test

I took 40mg of Vyvanse on Saturday and had a u/a on Tuesday. Will I pass? ## I know this is an older thread but as many people may have similar questions regarding their (illicit or legal prescription) use of amphetamines and what results can be expected regarding urinalysis drug toxicology reports, I figured I'd post this: the answer to this specific question would depend on the frequency that the inquirer uses (used) vyvanse. Their dosage (40mg) was a pretty low therapeutic dosage and based on the way they phrased the question, I'd assume that they didn't take vyvanse on a regular basis, but rather a PRN (as needed) prescription basis or an intermediate illicit basis for recreational purposes (again pretty low dose to obtain any recreational value). this is a random question, I was at a friends and she had her son's vyvanse 70 mg daily dose in a sinus med bottle. I took it assuming it was sinus med then had a urine drug screen 36 hours later and was told I had high level amphetamine in the test. is that possible after that long with one 60mg capsule ## Did you ever get a answer to this question about vvaynce

I took my daily dose of xanax and 30 mg of vyvanse then decided to go over to a friend's house. We were playing Madden. I asked him for a drink. He had what I thought was blue powerade in his fridge. I downed it and within like 15 minutes I was all messed up. I couldn't walk and I was going and trying to do errands like this till I finally just collapsed and was taken to the er only to find out there was suboxone and some kind of opiate in the powerade. I got an appointment on the 27th. I spoke with crisis and I am trying to get a hold of my Dr asap because also my vyvanse script was gone. I just want some advice on how to handle this all. Can Vyvanse cause a false positive for methamphetamine when taking a drug test? ## No, Vyvanse hasn't been known to cause false positives for anything else. Was the person in question taking any other medications, even over the counter products? ## Possible. So will ephedrine or pueudoepedrine. Darvocet or Darvon, (propoxephene) now withdrawn will come up positive as it is related to methadone. Hi. I'm prescribed Vyvanse 50mg but I ran out and took some Adderall IR 30mgs to hold me off. Is this going to come up for something different then the regular amphetamines that I test positive for? Can Vyvanse 30 mg cause you to fail a UA test and if so for what type of drugs ## Yes, as a schedule II sympathomemeticamine it has a proximity to amphetamine. Therefore the test result would be positive for stimulants. You would need to explain that it is for you ADHD. Jet pilots routinely take stimulents like this from the flight surgeon. Desoxyn or pharmaceutical methamphetamine it also prescribed but more stringently.

I have a great job, one i hope to retire from. I work for a very major automobile manufacturer. I had a very minor incident driving a vehicle in the plant. It requires a drug test that had no problem taking due to being prescribed adderall the entire time employed there and have passed 2 drug tests for minor incidents with adderall on my medical chart. after the last test, I decided I would try vyvance, (another ad/hd treatment) from a friend, without a prescription, only because i wasnt going to be driving again for several weeks and would be out of my system long before that. as luck would have it, they gave me a random drug test that night! ...is the lab gonna detect the difference and fire me?!? ## ....if anyone is interested, I passed the d.t :) Thank God!! ## I am in the same boat...

So Im in a pain management program at my doctors and they have to give me a urine test every month for 2 yrs and my problem is that I have been having to give him the meds bc my husband goes to work early now so how does it show on my urine test if Im not taking it just touching the powder and then taking meds after i give him his meds?Please help me..

I am a 21 year old college student looking to buy vyvanse wtihout a prescription.... I know that is probably the worst intro and most people will think I just want it to cram for tests or whatever, but that is not the case. I have struggled with focusing, procrastinating, forgetfulness, and mistakes in my school work since I was very young. I am not comfortable going to a doctor with this information because I am still on my parent's health insurance and they don't understand why I would need something like this. I don't need a lecture - I have tried vyvanse several times and it helped so much! I felt motivated and focused without any bad side effects. I am prescribed 50mg Vyvanse that I take daily incentives 2009. I dropped my last four pills down the sink and when my dr. tests me I won't have any in my system. My son is 14 and has been taking Vyvanse for about one year now. His current dose is 60mg daily. Over the past 4 months he has been experiencing side effects that led doctors to think that he has Neuro-Cardiogenic Syncope also known as POTS (Postural Orhtostatic Tachycardia Syncope). So now on top of his Vyvanse he is now taking Toprol 25mg daily. His symptoms include rapid heart beat, dizziness, blurred vision, and chest pain. He had a TILT test performed and failed. But now after reading more, I think that these symptoms are all side effects of his medication. Drug test came back positive for methamphetamine and amphetamines I take vyvanse and was taking over the counter cold medication at the time could this combination have caused a positive reading? My boyfriend was given a 5 panel urine drug test. He is currently taking 40 mg of Vyvanse. The test results showed that all panels were negative except for the THC. So the test for the Vyvanse was negative. Would that mean that the result for the THC could be wrong also? ## On a five panel test, each drug is tested individually. If he rested positive for THC then I feel confident that he had THC in his system. I am not certain, but I don't believe Vyvanse is a drug that is tested for. I don't believe it is a narcotic. Again, I am not positive about the Vyvanse.

I had a huge blowout with the woman who runs the urine lab the same day I got the false positive. I also wonder if the result really exists and that it may have been reported to me wrong..? Information I gathered states that Vyvanse is a prodrug for the chemical dextroamphetamine. Dextroamphetamine will cause a positive test for amphetamines, and in some drug tests methamphetamine. You should provide your prescription to whomever is drug testing you to show valid reason for such a positive test.
