volibo m 0.3 is to be taken once or twice daily? ## Hi shri, Based on my research, the usual adult dose for Volibo (voglibose) is 200 to 300 mcg 3 times a day on an empty stomach, 15-30 minutes before meals. Always be sure to follow the prescribing information that was given to you by your doctor or pharmacist. Voglibose is an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor used for lowering post-prandial blood glucose levels in people with diabetes mellitus. Voglibose delays the absorption of glucose and thereby reduces the risk of macrovascular complications. Postprandial hyperglycemia (PPHG) is primarily due to first phase insulin secretion. I am a T 2 DM patient for last few years. The following medicines are taken for last few months. Amryl 1 OD, Volibo 0.3 TDS, Clopitab 75 ODPC, Gabantin 100 BD, Fibator 10 OD, Losar H OD , Losar A OD and Prazopress XL 2.5 OD. As my BP was observed as 160/70 on 4/10/12, Doctor changed the medicines for Hypertension instead of Losar A, and Losar H to Stamlo 10 and Prazopress XL 5.For last 3/4 days my anklet and feet are seen to be swelling. May I know the probable cause of any medicine particularly of Stamlo 10? ## For last 5 days, I am taking Stamlo-5 OD and Prazopress XL 2.5 BD with other medicines as usual.My feet sowelling problem in no more. I am an Old Female Patient Age 81suffering from ILD (Interstices Lung Disease) and R.Arthritis. Having Predmet Since Last 4 Years With Varying Doses (16mg To 6mg) as per Doctors advise. Since last Six Weeks Dose of Predmet reduced to 4mg daily. In addition to General Weakness and Blood Sugar Disorder (which Is due to Predmet according to my Doctor), I am Suffering from Short Time Memory Loss during last 6 to 8 Months. I am an old female patient (age 81)suffering for ILD (Interstices lung disease) and R.Arthritis. Having Predmet since last 4 years with varying doses (16mg to 6mg) as per Doctor's advise. Since last six weeks dose reduced to 4mg per day. In addition to general weakness and Blood sugar disorder (which is due to predmet - according to my Doctor), I am suffering Short time memory loss recently from last six to eight months. Other medicines are Ramistar5, Volibo0.3mg, Minipress XL 5mg and Aztor20. Have BP 120/80 more or less uniform. Also take Idrofos 150mg - 1 tab/month. i have been using Ecospitin AV75 since 2013. i ma type II diabetic with slightly high levels of cholesterol. i am under medication for Diabetes. my family has a history of heart complications. since the last 3-4 years, my face has become darker compared to my body. the darkness is in a patch covering the forehead, just above the eyebrows and continues down up to my neck. the color changes dramatically to normal at the junction of the neck to the trunk. can this be due to prolonged use of Ecospirin AV 75.? i am also prescribed Amlong 5 mg, Telma 80, Istamet 50/500, shelcal 500 and Volibo M 0.3. ...

I am having sugar problem since 1997. I am feeling numbness in the fingures of my feet. My hand muscles are also getting waste. My sugar level with medicines remains between 200 to 250. Sir,my mother is using both Gemer 1 & Volibo 0.3 tablets daily her course is daily 2 tablets of Gemer 1 & volobo at the morning time. what my doubt why doctor prescribed her to different kind of tablets both of them do the same thing which reduces the sugar in the blood.
