I have a pill that has the imprint PH 073 on one side and is blank on the other. It is a white oblong shape is this a generic vicodin? ## No, it is not Vicodin, this company makes over the counter products. Could it possibly be an 073? We have discovered that tablet to be 400mgs of Guaifenesin, a generic or store brand of Mucinex. If it really is PH 073, then it is also more than likely an oTC item, which would explain why it's not in any databases and also why poison control didn't know what it is. OTC items are not required to have their markings logged by the government. You can see several threads about the one with the PH 063 marking here: If you are certain it is 073, then there is a good chance it contains this same ingredient, but is a higher dosage, though, at this time... ...

I was told 7.5 vicodin no imprint because it was generic, true? ## Hello, Avedon! How are you? No, that is not true. Even generic prescription tablets in the U.S. are required to have imprints to enable their identification, in case of emergency. If it has no imprint, it is most likely some type of over the counter product. I'll do some searching and post back, if I find anything that matches this description. Does anyone else recognize this tablet? The FDA classifies Vicodin as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ...

white w/ one side a ''p w/ a triangle above it'', and on the other side it says ''014'' ## Is this vicodin, or a generic equivalent? ## NO, THIS IS NOT VICODIN! That logo is actually supposed to be an AP, and this is nothing more than Acetaminophen 500mgs, a generic or store brand of Extra Strength Tylenol. Just because a pill has a V or something that looks like it on there, does not mean it is Vicodin. The imprint does not have anything to do with the ingredients, it is just the drug company logo. ## I found a pill that my husband got from his sister for his knee pain but not sure what it is, it is white & oval with a triangle without the line at the bottom to close the triangle & a P between the center of the triangle is is somewhat flat with a... ...

what is this pill.. is has a cursive v on one side and the #'s 35 94 on the other ## Well first of all, the V does not stand for Vicodin, pill imprints do not work that way, except in the case of some limited name brands that might put the name of the product on the pill. This stylized V is the manufacturer's logo, the company is Vintage/Qualitest. So while there are some pills with the V that are a version of Vicodin, there also plenty of other drugs that aren't any type of narcotic that have the V logo on them as well. This pill contains Acetaminophen 500mgs and Hydrocodone 7.5mgs, a narcotic pain reliever, generic for Lortab. ## possibly a prednisone ...

round white vicodines 7.5 ## Well, I can't tell you anything from that description, it's the imprint on a tablet that tells you what it is an what's in it, not the color and shape. You can read more here: Please post back with the imprint and I will look it up and tell you more about this particular tablet. ...

I got a script for vicodin 3605 on side has v the other side the numbers. But on half the v is upside down. So they are not exactly the same. V facing up numbers up on back and v facing down number's up. Doesnt this sound weird like maybe they are fakes??? ## The direction of the V really doesn't mean anything, it just depends on how the pills landed in the imprint press. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. I bought pain pills from someone bacause my insurance won't cover pain management Dr. Or rx they appear to be the real thing by imprint but i would like to know if there is a way to test the pill without out sending to lab ## Unfortunately, no there isn't, I'm sorry. What is the imprint on them? That's really the only way to tell what something is, most imprints are difficult to copy precisely on fake tablets and it 's usually noticeable if they have been badly done. The imprint will be off-center, or not look quite right compared to images of it. Learn more Vicodin details here. ...
