From India.....is it a true hydrocodone? Has anyone actually tried this medication from VAX labs in a bubble pack? ## Hi Sally, If it's not dispensed by a legitimate licensed pharmacy, the only safe way to determine whether it's real or not would be to have the tablet analyzed by a lab or drug panel. Based on my own investigation, I cannot find any reason to believe that VAX labs or VAX Pharmaceuticals is a legitimate company. They have no website, no reviews and don't even appear to be a real firm from India. So personally, I would discard them. Obtaining meds like this over the internet is like gambling with your health and money. ## I just received 30 of these and took 1/2 of one and with no effect, I don't even think it is acetaminophen or hydrocodone!

I have got prescribed some medication and it is a pill that has p325 on it and it is purple and I just wanted to know if it has anything like oxycodone or hydrocone in it ## When was this prescribed? This is a medication called Balacet, which contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 100mgs of Propoxyphene. The Propoxyphene is a mild narcotic pain reliever, but the reason I am asking about when it was prescribed is because it was pull from the market by the FDA back in November and no pharmacy should still be providing you with these tablets. Was getting these in A larger yellow tablet and was suprised to open my bottle this month and find this smaller different looking white pill. Now I wonder if it is as good as the yellow I have been taking ?? I Took my prescription to a pharmacy to be filled and they said they couldn't fill it because that strength 10 325 doesn't exist anymore with Vicodin. They said the doctor should've made the prescription out for either 10/300 or Norco 10/325. I went to another chain pharmacy and they said there was no problem at all and they filled the prescription and said the law allowed them to generically fill the prescription with either Norco 10/325 or Vicodin 10/300 which ever they had available as long as it wasn't over 10/325. In this case, you have the conversion backwards, because Oxycodone is stronger than Hydrocodone. Taking 30mgs of it would be equal to taking 45mgs of Hydrocodone. Thus, it just takes one of these tablets to equal one a half Vicodin 10/325. I was taken off lortab10/650 and give the lortab 10/325.since then I have felt really bad..sleepy.no energy etc.has anyone else had a problem like this? ## This isn't as potent, since it has the lower dose of Acetaminophen in it, so you may be experiencing some minor withdrawal symptoms. How long have you been taking the new dose? Your body will usually adjust after a week or two.

I was taking the oblong white ones then moved to different state an they r giving me white ones that r shaped different they r fat in the middle an if I don't eat something I get really sick an I didn't get sick on the other ones. What is stronger and how do these 2 drugs compare.....10/325 hydrocodone vs. tramadol 50 mg ## You really can't compare them, since they aren't in the same drug classes. The Hydrocodone in the Vicodin/Lortab is a potent narcotic analgesic. But the Tramadol is just a centrally acting analgesic, though it is derived from an opiate, it is nowhere near as strong and effective as the opiate narcotic class. Both can be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is Norco 10-325 as strong as Vicoden 10-660 for pain? ## The only difference is the Norco has 325 mgs Tylenol and the Vicodin 660 mgs.They both have the same amount of hydrocodone, 10 mgs. ## @Shep, BL is correct about the amount of Tylenol (Acetaminophen) in each medication. Therefore, the Vicodin would be stronger than the Norco. If your pain isn't severe, I personally recommend taking the Norco due to the fact that it contains less Tylenol (Acetaminophen).
