My brother has Stage IV lung/bone cancer and the new pain cocktail is 8 mg. dilaudid and 150 fetanyl patch plus IV dilaudid every 2 hours. He will probably be released from the hospital today or tomorrow so they have been easing off the injectable dosage and administering it oralls. The increased dosage of the oral dilaudid is causing him to vomit, which will lead to dehydration etc. What is the next best solution to solving this insidious problem of keeping his pain under control without these side effects? i have patchy consolidation in my lungs based on a chest xray done and there is congestion in sinus also. i am asked to take mahaflox 400mg twice a day withderipylin retard thrice a day along with a cough syrup. My son is of 5 years of age he coughs frequently since the last 4 days consulted a padiatric doc , prescribed solvin nasal spray, ornotrix, Delletus D and levolin along with Calpol 250mg, fever rises due extensive cough and gets cold sometimes the other symptom of fever..asked whether its a symptom of pneumonia doc says no.please help me out cause can see him coughing out whole day long but coughs less when he goes to sleep.

Im 45 years old ans has resently been diagnosed with MS and CADASIL. Im suffering of servere headaches especially on the (r) side if my head. Mostly at the back. My entire spinal cord is very painfull and get tired fast but im not allowed to use any meds other then aspirin and topamax. Im awfully very tired. Im aneamic but are not allowed to use my ferrous forte either. This is hard. Im suffering and cant live in pain permanently in a daily basis. Im just asking for one painfree day. I had been taking Kiotex and it wasn't solving my problem, so my doctor decided to put me on this. Seeing that I am the first one on this forum bothers me....but hoping others will start to respond and we can track each other's progress with this new drug. ## How are you doing on the Patiromer?
