Big Round Orange colour tablet ## I want the use of this Tablet Ursocol 300 ## want ot know chemical composition and use of this drug ## From what I was able to gather Ursocol is a product of India. I did however locate the active ingredient which is Ursodeoxycholic Acid. Ursodeoxycholic Acid is listed to be in the US product Ursodiol. Ursodiol helps regulate cholesterol by reducing the rate at which the intestine absorbs cholesterol molecules while breaking up micelles containing cholesterol. I have undergone an ERCP operation inflated method of stone removal from my bile duct on the 4th jan 2013,there were many small stones which have been cleared out in full by the resident doctor ,but he has advoised me to take URSOCOL 150 or 300 mg twice daily ,and advised me to plan pregnancy,and by now I am 5 weeks pregnant,should I continue it? or will it destroy the fetal development,,am worried ,,please reply ...

I am diagnosed with having Hepatitis E. My Doctor prescribed Ursocol 300. In what way does it help? That said, if you are having an allergic reaction, it isn't an equivalent medication that you want, but something from a different class that treats the same conditions. Have you reported the problem to your doctor and discussed it with them? this site is not medical professionals, so we can't prescribe you anything different. Other medications used to treat these types of conditions can include; Proessen, Actibile, LIV-52, Livasa and Livomyn. ...

i am suffering from hepatitis a which is drug infused, i have been taking ursocol 300 from last 11 days but from last 2 days after having the ursocol 300 i am having short of breath what should i do? ## Ursocol contains the active ingredient Ursodeoxycholic Acid. my son 4 yrs old eat ursocol 300 at a time any side effect in future in our life ? ## What is he taking it for? This contains Ursodiol, it's usually used to help dissolve gallstones. my wife has symp of initial stage of jaundice. Doctor has prescribed Ursocol. I want to know its use and side effect. ## My wife had suffered acute jaundice since five years back.She could not be cure in Odisha instead of giving treatment in almost all supr specialist hospitals available in Odisha.Lastly I took her to ILBS Basanta kunj New Delhi where she completely cured within ten days. I am tuberculosis patient(lymph node),and I am taking drug of TB (Rcinex E) for 6 months and I have also gall stone problem(primary stage). Doctor has prescribed to take ursocol 300 mg twice daily. So, taking ursocol and tuberculosis drug simultaneously can create any problem/have any interaction between them. My another question is that we can take antacid with these two above mentioned drug ...

How to take Ursocol 300? What are ite side effects? How long one should take? ## Ursodiol 300 mg (Ursodeoxycholic Acid), comes in capsule form, and is taken orally. Side effects include: Diarrhea, constipation, upset stomach, indigestion, dizziness, vomiting, cough, sore throat, runny nose, back pain, muscle and joint pain, hair loss. Uncommon side effects include: Frequent urination or pain when you urinate, cough with fever. Research I have a gathered states that Ursodiol needs to be taken for months to have an effect; however, you may need to take ursodiol for up to 2 years.
