I have been taking one Treximet or one Sumatriptan per day for years. It's the only thing that keeps me going. I have severe migraines and that is the only thing works. It is a triptan like imitrex. These aren't controlled drugs, they just get rid of the migraine. Where can I get Treximet cheaper? In the US the pills are $700 for 9 pills. My insurance only lets me have 9 per month too. ## Ordering them from outside the U.S. would be illegal, since it is available here. My guess is that your insurance limits it due to the price and the fact that most people don't take them every day, but only as needed. Have you checked the prices with other pharmacies in your area? Does your insurance company have a mail order program? Those are sometimes cheaper. Typical side effects of thi...

Im having an awful time with migraines. No triptans work so I'm on narcotics for chronic pain. Currently taking hydrocodone 10/325 twice a day but its not helping much anymore. Pain mgnmt dr prescribed Butrans 5mg patch. Its not covered by my insurance so I wanted to know if its better for pain than the current hydro I'm on before spending $170 on a mths supply. Any info is appreciated. Tired of this chronic pain! ## ask your Dr if he can appeal the insurance Co's decision. He might be able to get them to OK it. I take Butrans 15 for severe neck pain. I love the fact the one patch lasts a week and there is no ups and down in the pain relief. ## Hello, Sharon! Sorry about the migraines. The only way to know if it will help you is by actually trying it. What you might want to ...

white triangle pill with s on one side and 50 on the other ## This tablet contains 50mgs of Sumatriptan, the active ingredient in Imitrex, used to treat migraines. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, thirst and diarrhea. Read more: Is there anything else I can help you with? ## I get migraines once of twice a month and I take sumatriptan that makes it go away eveery single time. Most often I take a 25 mg tablet and that usually works for me since I weight about 110 pounds, this drug has fewer side affects than other triptans. Sometimes I have to take 50 mg dose, and when on my period I have migraines even two days in a row. Looking for a doctor in Delaware/PA for pain management of severe migraine headaches who will prescribe oxycodone liquid. Have been to migraine clinics all over the country and tried Fentyl patch, Botox injections, triptan medications, morphine, diladid, with no relief for chronic dibiltating migraines. ## Has your doctor done any checking to see what's causing your migraines? The reason I'm asking is because Fentanyl is the strongest opiate available, so if it didn't help, it is unlikely that Oxycodone will help, regardless of the form its in. The FDA warns that opiate medications carry the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.
