A dermatologist prescribed Retin A for my skin for exfolient and regrowth of new skin. It has worked wonders and my skin looks alive again. This was yrs ago and I now buy Epitrol from Mexico. Does very well and I will continue to use it since people tell me I do not look my 74 years. It never caused rash or peeling as I used it per instructions. Also I use a cream on top. ## Hello, Nonna! I can't find any info on it. ## Tretinoin is a derivative of vitamin A, it is most commonly used to treat acne, and other topical skin conditions, and a form of leukemia when taken orally. It should not be applied to open blemishes, as it may cause further irritation, redness, and dryness as side effects, and while it has been known to help with wrinkles, it is not usually prescribed for that purpose. a friend brought this cream back from mexico but I cant read the instructions ## I bought Epitrel from Mexico. I overdid it looking for fast result. It causes the top layer of your skin to peel off and that is how it gets rid of wrinkles and scars so don't overdo it.It is like a chemical peel in a way.
