Hello I had a question on tretinoin cream about it hepling for post inflammatory hyperpigmentation does it really help. I have the 0.1% and all my acne is gone but im stucm with these red dark marks on my face. Im 19 years old brown skin ## Hello, David! How are you? Actually, if you were using it for acne, then the Tretinoin cream could have caused the hyperpigmentation. It has been known to do that, according to the FDA medication information sheet. Other side effects can include skin irritation, sun sensitivity and stinging. Thus, it might not be something you want to use to try to get rid of this, unless your doctor has instructed you to use it for that. What else do you use on your skin? ## hello david, you can used supatreat 0.04% gel for your red marks. it is good cream for acne ...

I want some Reacel-A Tretinoina cream but I can't find it in your product list? ## Hello, June! How are you? This website does not manufacture, prescribe, nor sell any medications or products, it is an information only resource. In the U.S., this requires a prescription from your doctor. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including skin redness, irritation, flaking and dryness. Is there anything else I can help with?

A dermatologist prescribed Retin A for my skin for exfolient and regrowth of new skin. It has worked wonders and my skin looks alive again. This was yrs ago and I now buy Epitrol from Mexico. Does very well and I will continue to use it since people tell me I do not look my 74 years. It never caused rash or peeling as I used it per instructions. Also I use a cream on top. ## Hello, Nonna! How are you? I am so glad that it has worked so well for you. However, due to the risks, I can't encourage anyone to obtain it elsewhere and use it without their doctor's approval. It can cause the peeling and skin burning as side effects, according to the FDA, which could result in scarring and worsening of some skin conditions. What type of cream do you use with it?

anti-wrinle cream ## is tretinnnnoin effective on scars and wrinkles? can it be applied on a open blemish? is this a good product? ## I've been prescribed tretinoin cream to dry out some skin pores that have gone crazy. IS it a wrinkle cream too? I can't find any info on it. ## Tretinoin is a derivative of vitamin A, it is most commonly used to treat acne, and other topical skin conditions, and a form of leukemia when taken orally. It should not be applied to open blemishes, as it may cause further irritation, redness, and dryness as side effects, and while it has been known to help with wrinkles, it is not usually prescribed for that purpose. Has it been prescribed for you? Alicia, sorry to read of the problem you're having. What other remedies have you tried?

a friend brought this cream back from mexico but I cant read the instructions ## I bought Epitrel from Mexico. I overdid it looking for fast result. It causes the top layer of your skin to peel off and that is how it gets rid of wrinkles and scars so don't overdo it.It is like a chemical peel in a way. Then new skin growers out ## Can you post back with those instructions, so I can translate them for you? The NIH warns that this medication can cause side effects, such as skin redness, irritation, itching, and flaking.

I have a tube of Reacel-A that I bought in Mexico and it is now expired. Is it harmful in anyway to use this if expired? ## Hello, Gina! How are you? It would be best to dispose of it. Liquid and cream medications tend to degrade faster than other forms, so it is possible that its actually gone bad, since it's expired. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including skin irritation, dryness and redness. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have been using the .025 version of this cream for a year and wish to get more but am not traveling to Mexico this year (unfortunately). Do you know of a reputable web site where this cream can be found? thank you. ## Hi Sandy, Based on my research, Retin-A (tretinoin) is reportedly a US brand of the same topical cream that your seeking. The only thing is, this medication has to be prescribed by a doctor or dermatologist here in the states, so you wouldn't necessarily find it online w/ out a valid prescription. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Retin-A Details I hope this info helps!
