vetrinary pain med for felines ## I give torbutrol 5 mg. to my dog. The vet gives me 10 pills and charges me $40. each time. Is there a way to get this medication for less? ## I agree - my dog needs this every day and it's 30 pills for $95. Does anyone have an alternative medicine or a website for this? Thanks. ## Ask your vet if the 10 mg. pills would be any less expensive and break them in half - they are scored. Also, if you can afford it, ordering 100 pills at a time is sometimes less expensive. ## You're being ripped off by your vet. I have a holistic vet and I am told they are $1.00 a pill and I have to cut them in quarters (1 pill for 4 uses - only when needed). I don't know your vet, but mine is Holistic and I'd never trade my dog's vet for any other Vet. ## ...

I am currently using 125 MCG fentanyl patches - 1 100mcg and 1 25mcg for chronic pain due to fibromyalgia and Addisons Disease. My orthopedic surgeon just informed me today that I have a large bone spur and a torn rotator cuff on my right shoulder. Hi, I have been on Fentanyl (Durogesic) about 8yrs. I started at 25mcg ended up to 100mcg every 48hrs. I have numerous chronic pain conditions. I had Glandular Fever then a few months later Ross River Fever (from a mosquito) I ended up with fibromyalgia and Chronic fatigue. I then had a work accident and had surgery to repair torn tendons in my shoulder. During surgery I had a stroke. Apparently there was no oxygen in the lines and this caused stroke. Things went downhill quickly from there. 56 ischemic strokes, a large cerebral aneurysm that required life saving surgery, a couple of smaller aneurysms that burst, I already had degenerative spine which got to the point I now have ruptured and bulging discs (ranging from neck to lumbar) and neuralgia in neck and jaw from the brain surgery. SUFFERING FROM BLOODPRESSURE AND HEART TROUBLE ## Sir, I am having high blood pressure since 1996. Started with Nuril 2.5mg, the dose had to be incresed from time to time as the BP increased.
