Hi, I take kelnor. I've been on it for about 3 months now. I have never missed a pill. But I was wondering if I was am okay to not take the pill at the exact same time everyday. I take it before I go to sleep. I don't always go to sleep at the same time. Is this okay? It's within a couple hours. Should I start taking it at the exact same time? Or am I okay to continue taking it before I go to bed? ## Hello, Emily! How are you? There usually isn't a problem taking it within an hour or two of the previous time, unless your doctor has given some reason not to to do so. The reason you're usually told to take it at the same time every day is to try to get you into the habit of taking it all the time, so you don't forget and miss any. The gap also shouldn't be more...

HOW MANY MINUTES BEFORE MEAL GLIMEPIRIDE 2 MG TO BE TAKEN SIMILARLY METFORMIN TIMING ## Glimepiride and Metformin are both oral antidiabetic medications. Ideally, you should take them just at the start of a meal, right before you start eating. The normal release tablets take about 15 to 20 minutes to start working, so by taking them this way, they will have a chance to start working, by the time you are finished with your meal, to better control your blood sugar levels. You may experience some side effects from these medications, such as: nausea, stomach pain, diarrhea and flatulence. Learn more: Are there any other questions? ## my husband takes metformin & glimepiride just this morning again he has swelling of the face. spent 24 hrs. in ICU for tongue swelling recently & still...

i forget taking ecospirin 150 after lunch. is it ok if i take it any other time ## Ecosprin just contains Aspirin and in many cases it is used as a blood thinner in these lower dosages. That said, there is no particular time of day that it has to be taken, so there really shouldn't be any problem if you switch it to another time that's easier for you to remember to take it. Learn more Ecosprin details here. If you're on the once a day dosing, then you should just make sure not to take them any closer than 24 hours apart. So, if you want to take one later in the day, then taking your next dose 30 hours away from the last one would be safer than taking them just six hours apart. Are there any other questions or comments? ## Can i take 20-30 tablets of ecospirin 150mg perday

Have been given a 4 tablets daily for 5 days for server bug bites. Should I take them as stated or reduce after 2 days so it would be 3 on 3rd day 2 on 4th day then 1 for the remainder of the pills. I hear these should be tapped off or maybe not for just a 5 day period. ## Hello, Linda! How are you? No, they only need to be tapered if taken in high doses for over 21 days. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, insomnia, nervousness, acne and fluid retention. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have a lot of Joint and ligament pain and it is consistent with when I started taking Coveram (5 months ago). Can Coveram contribute to these types of aches and soreness? And yes, these types of medications can sometimes cause those types of side effects in some people that take them. How long have you been taking it? I got a script of 50 tramadol on the 21st of April. When is a good time to get it refilled? I was to take one to two 3 times a day. ## Refill depends on the NUMBER OF TABLETS your original script called for divided by six. That's the number of days coverage you have beginning on April 21st. ## It can also depend on how the prescription was written. If it to be taken on an as needed basis, then your doctor may expect it to last longer than the division would imply. However, this is a controlled substance, since the FDA classifies it as an opioid, so your pharmacy won't let you get it filled too early. It is warned that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation and dry mouth. Is there anything else I ca...

My boyfriend took 4 (of the zc02) promethazine tablets. He is restless and can't sleep. He says he can't breath and that everything seems closed in. He doesn't want medical attention and I don't know what to do... ## Hi Pam, I'm so sorry to hear about the condition your boyfriend is in. How has everything been going since the timing of your post (5/6/2017)? -Much better I hope... Did you end up having to call poison control or take him into the local emergency room? I realize he didn't want medical attention so I'd just be curious to know how the situation was handled and if he's doing well now, as from what I understand, Promethazine reportedly has strong sedative effects. If you get a chance, please have a look at NIH's drug monograph on Promethazin...

im traveling 13 days later the time of my period so i took 9 Ovocept HD tablets but some acne appears on my face i quit after 9 days.when i will be period.i dont want to be period durin my holidays.please answer thanks ## Hi taraneh, Just so you know, acne is a common side effect of most oral contraceptives and is likely a result of changes in your hormone levels. As far as the timing of your period is concerned, I don't mean to be sarcastic about it, but your menstrual cycle doesn't adhere to specific holidays/vacations in order to take time off. However, some gynecologists might recommend taking the tablets in a particular way so that it deviates from the normal cycle. But there's really no telling when it will come again after that. I'd just recommend talking with you...

I've been on a diazepam scripts for a long time now & had just been prescribed some diaxium tablets 10mg with red and blue markings on the packet (10per strip). I've noticed there are no signs or symbols on the blue tablets.... just a line going through the middle! Do they contain diazepam? ## I realize this response is far beyond the timing of your post, but in my investigation Diaxium does not appear to be a recognized name used by any known drug manufacturers... The closest name I found to that is Doxium, which is a 250mg calcium dobesilate tablet. Personally, I think the odds of them being counterfeit are relatively high, especially since there are no proper markings for a means of identification. If it's not from a licensed pharmacy I would honestly recommend gettin...

Are there any immediate side effects after taking disperzyme tabs like acidity, bloating etc ?? ## From what I've read, Disperzyme tablets are usually well tolerated by most individuals. However my research does note that, bloating, as well as other intestinal disturbances may result from its use; and can be avoided more often than not, by simply adjusting the timing and frequency of the dosage. I've also heard of other patients mentioning similar side effects after taking this particular combination of enzymes. Perhaps it's just too much of a good thing?

All doctors have prescribed me to take 1 antibiotic 4 times a day, but another doctor said to take 2 tablets twice a day. Does it matter how you take them? Which method has the best effect? ## Hello, Kathy! How are you? It is consistent dosing that's important, you have to keep it in your system at a consistent regular level, in order for it to eradicate the bacteria. So, you can take it, either way, whichever works best for you, but keep the timing as precise as possible. If you take 2 of them twice a day, keep them as close to 12 hours apart as possible; or if you take it 4 times a day, keep them as close to 6 hours apart as possible. The U.S. FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Is there anythin...

is taking the pill form 5mg piolcarpine, 4 times a day the same as taking it by injection? ## Hi yolie, To my understanding, the answer to your question is no. Differences in the interval timing of your dosing as well as the absorption rate and how it's metabolized, would all likely be enough to render a different reaction to each form of administration. Additionally, different binders and fillers that are be present in the tablets may not necessarily be there in the form of an injection. Inactive ingredients in the tablet, the tablet's film coating, and polishing are: carnauba wax, hypromellose, microcrystalline cellulose, stearic acid, titanium dioxide and more... I'm not sure what other ingredients might be found in the injection vs the tablet, but I can be sure that they...

Wat to travel to North hence wanted to prepone my periods. ## Hi Swathi, When it comes to medications that can alter the timing of your menstrual cycle, this typically involves the use of hormonal contraceptives. These are prescribed by your doctor or gynecologist. I don't recall the exact dosing protocols that make this possible, but taking the active/inactive pills at certain intervals may either prepone or postpone periods. As far as choosing a medication, I often hear about Loestrin Fe and Sprintec birth control tablets being used in such a manner. However, your prescriber should be able to give you specific instructions that allow you to tailor the timing of your period to your individual needs with whatever brand of contraceptive he/she sees fit. I hope this helps!
