I am 45 years old having family history of hypertension. That's why my doctor advised to take telma 20 as 1-0-0 on daily basis. My BP is quite normal 120/80 whether I take the medicine or not. Only on account of family history I have been advised to take the tablet for life time as mentioned above. I have been prescribed this drug for control of my fluctuating Blood Pressure. Normaly my BP ranges between 80/140 to 90/150. Recently it shot unto 110/170. I am 61 yrs. and have been taking BP control medicine Tenormin 50 - one in the morning and Telma 20 - one in the night. Last week I got my Eco Cardiograme and CT Angeography done. The reports are clear and Normal. I am 25yrs old female diagnosed with Proteinuria & Haemeturia. I hv been taking Wysolone 40mg daily along with Telma 20 since I hv high Bp. I used to take wysolone 60mg but aftr 2months dose reduced To 40mg. Now my face got swollen & there's lots of pimples on my face. I am 78 yrs old. Dr prescribed Telma 40 but by taking Telma 40 my bp drops down therefore i reduced to Telma 20. Now i am maintaining bp as 125/62-65 etc. In case i do not take medicine it increases to 140/90 approximately. Should I ask my dr to change the medicine or stop taking this medicine? my mother age is 49 years, she was suffering by maigraine headche from past 4 years,also have high BP problem, recurrent UTI, As per DMSA Scan ( scarring in left kidney with 7% working and right kidney is 93% working condition. Serum creatinine level 1.60. Uric acid 47, as per latest lab report 24 urine creatinine clearance range - 35 mg / 24 hours.
