More information on this product,Ive been on this for a couple years an know I think I have a higher tolerate. ## What type of information are you seeking on it? The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. do all metaformin pills have the same markings..? ## Hello, Judah! How are you? No, they do not. Each manufacturer must use unique imprints to enable their tablets to be identified, in case of emergency. The imprints also have to differ from one dosage to the next. This enables authorities to trace what a pill contains, what its dosage is and who manufactured it, just from looking the imprint up in a database. Metformin is an oral antidiabetic medication that is used to help lower and control blood sugar, side effects may include nausea, dizziness, stomach pain, flatulence and hypoglycemia. Do you have a tablet that you are questioning? If so, please post back with the markings on it and I will be glad to research it for you to see what it contains.

Hello all. For the last 6 months, i've been prescribed various meds/treatments/pain meds for severe head pressure and neck pain. I had to stop taking any form of Hydrocodone because it makes my skin breakout in open sores (gross, i know). On May 6th, my PCP prescribed me Oxycodone 10mg 4times daily with great results and it made me very fuctional. He gave me another script for the same medication and when i went to the pharmacy, they filled it and when i got home, i notices the tablets/drug company was different. Well, was i in for a suprise. The new generics my pharmacy had were made by Zydus Pharmaceuticals and are imported from India? Well, to say the least, i've been taking almost twice my dosage to get the same effect. There's no way on earth that my tolerance doubled i...

Is there a difference between 7.5 MG Tab zyd And just 7.5 MG? ## Hi Teresa, Based on my research, "zyd" apparently stands for the manufacturer (Zydus Pharmaceuticals USA) and should correspond with a National Drug Code of 68382-050. I guess on some labels pharmacies feel the need to include the name/abbreviation of the company who makes it, as a secondary means of reference.. Especially since so many people are now coming to terms with the fact that certain manufacturers produce better quality meds than others. I hope this info helps!
