Telma-AM-H 80 versus Listril-SM and Tenoric 50
4 Replies RSS
I am 65 years old and hypertensive for last 30/35 years. I am under medication for long and presently taking Listril-SM tab and Stamlo 5, one each in the morning and Tenoric 50 one tablet at night. Recently one Cardiologist advised me to take one tab. Telma-AM-H 80 in the morning replacing the other medicines and also to replace Colsprin 100 with Ecosprin Gold 20. The problem is I tried Telma 40 and subsequently Telma-H a couple of years ago as per advise of a Cardilogist but it failed to maintain my blood pressure. On the contrary it shoots upto 190/100. The pressure becomes 140/80 after switching back to Listril-SM with addition of Stamlo 5. While Lisonopril seems to be suiting me why Cardilogists insisting on Telsartan ? Is this a better medicine or avoid using Tenoric ? ## I am 60 a... ...

My BP in the range of 130/90 and I am taking Telpres - 40 mg in a day. Recent Blood Report show there is an increase in TGL count. Please advise whether this because of BP tablet that I am taking. Seek your advise. ## My mother is 83 years old . She is taking Telpress 20 mg morning and Stamlo 2.5 evening. No side effects at these dosage levels. Her BP a week ago was 140/90 . On 5/9/12 , she went to firm up the cataract surgery date and tests . Her BP was 190/90 . I think this may due to stress on the day of consultation with Eye specialists.
