Can a 25mg Atenolol tablet be scored? ## Are you asking if it's safe to cut in half? If so, then yes, as long as your doctor or pharmacist haven't instructed you otherwise and it isn't a time released tablet. My sensitivity to medications often makes me cut tablets, that aren't scored for cutting, so I can take a lower dose. My doctor just approves it first. ## Can you take 6mg of Atenolol to prevent or block an adrenal rush? The adrenaline causes me to awaken between 2-4 a.m. ## My mother is prescribed one 100 mg tablet of atenolol a day. The pharmacy gave her two 50 mg tablets per day and on the bottle it said it was the same, but her blood pressure is out of control. Is it the dosage change? Nothing else has changed. ...

After 2 hours of taking this medication i get drowsy, my legs and feet. I can barely pick up my feet to out to the mailbox. Lost of appetite. ## This tablet contains the active ingredients Atenolol and Chlorthalidone, it is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure and other cardiac diseases. Have you been carefully monitoring your fluid intake? High sodium leads to fluid build-up, fluid build-up increases the build-up of sodium, so it is kind of a vicious cycle. If you aren't taking in enough fluids, then you might be dehydrated and the symptoms you mentioned can occur if you are. Another possibility ... ...

I have been taking Totamol(Atenonol) for quite a number of years now. I switched a couple of times to other medicines to treat my high blood pressure due to serious and numerous side effects. Once again on the Atenolol 50mg, daily and amlodipine, 5mg, blue round pill. The combination of these two pills is shedding my hair excessively. I am a 57 year old black woman and this is very traumatic for me. As I live in the Caribbean, my GP, does not take any interest in my complaint regarding my hair loss. At the moment I have a boyish crew cut, which makes me look very manly and unattractive. This has led to me feeling depressed at times, because I know that doctors here don,t see this as a problem especially at my age. Can you please recommend those blood pressure pills that do not have hair... ...
