Do we get relent syrup seperately for babies or its the same 60ml bottle? Is it safe to give relent+ syrup for 5 months old baby? ## Relent syrup contains cetirizine 2.5 mg + ambroxol 30 mg; per 5mL From what I could gather, the prescribing information for this drug notes the following: Children: 6 month's - 2 years old: 2.5 mg once daily (up to 2.5 mg bid in children =12 months). There are no dosing indications for children under 6 months of age, but since your child is only 1 month away from that, I would suggest talking to your doctor about this just to be on the safe side. do they loose their appetite when taking this medicine? or combined with ZydaClin? My dog has been drowsy and not active like she normally is ....she had her teeth clean and some pulled and has been taking the medicine for 5 days now ## Hello Pat, Sorry to hear your dog is having a bad time after having her teeth pulled. According to Diamondback Drugs and Pet Education the most frequently seen side effects from Torbutrol (torb val syrup) are sedation, loss of appetite and diarrhea; it also can cause a slower heart rate. If she continues to feel this way after you stop administering the medication you may want to consult a veterinarian as there may be other factors involved. I hope this information helps and your dog feels better soon.

what is the white powdery sediment that collects at the bottom of my child's Betamox syrup bottle? ## Are you making sure to shake the medication to mix it, when you give your child a dose? Betamox contains the active ingredient Amoxicillin, which is an antibiotic, but these suspensions usually start out as powders at the pharmacy, which are mixed with purified water, at the time they are dispensed to you. Thus, as it sits, it is normal for some of the medication to settle back out, just as would happen with any other powder solid that you mix with a liquid and let sit for awhile. That's why you are supposed to shake the bottle to mix well, before giving your child a dose. ## I've got the baby girl, she is 7 months she is having sore inside de mouth, she can't eat, she is ...

cold and cough ## i am taking this liquid syrup for my chest and head cold and would like to know what the medicine that are in the syrup. thanks! ## From what I can find this contains the active ingredients Guaifenesin and Hydrocodone, so it is an expectorant and cough suppressant. The Hydrocodone is a narcotic, so it does have the potential to be habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and constipation. Which is better,m end syrup or hydromet syrup? ## No one can really honestly tell you how this drug is going to effect you, as they are not you. Not even "you" know how it's going to effect you until you take it. Medications can and usually do affect everyone differently, whereas some people get great results but there are others that it inevitably just doesn't work for no matter how many they take. Unfortunately when it comes to prescription drugs the only to find out is to try it for yourself and decide after a few days to a week or so if this either drug is really right for you. I know it's a vague response, but I'd hate to say one works better than the other and you end up not liking it or having a bad reaction. Have you ever taken Hydrocodone (hydromet) in t...
