I have also seen no shred of evidence suggesting that it could be oxycodone, so whomever told you this may have intentionally mislead you, because that is just so far from the truth... I normally take ibuprofen to take the edge off impacted bowels. laxatives of every type I've taken. Only thing that helps the pain is vicadan/valium but I'm out. Any word if tramadol will really be reclassified ad a controlled substance after Feb 27 and unable to be purchased online??? Im kinda freaken out about this. ## From what I could gather, Tramadol (Ultram, Ultracet, Ryzolt) is not a "federally" controlled substance, at least yet. However, states may individually classify it as such. As of December 2008, Kentucky has classified tramadol as a controlled substance. Although it is likely that other states have already done so as well. I believe NY and Oklahoma are two others that recently made a controlled substance. It is very possible that tramadol will be reclassified as a controlled substance on the federal level, but I have yet to find any supporting information pertaining to Feb 27th 2013. these numbers seem to be very misleading.
