What the difference between Buprenorphine with Naloxone and Buprenorphine without Naloxone ## Hello, Cynthia! How are you? That is the difference. once contains the Naloxone to help prevent the abuse of other medications, while someone is being treated with it and the other doesn't. Naloxone isn't safe for everyone, particularly pregnant women, or someone who is allergic to it, so a different option has to be available for them. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Can skmeone please help me bow do i take the subutex am i supposed to diss...

I refilled my monthly subutex Tuesday and received orange oblong tablets inscribed 153. My pharmacy has carried 54/111 over three years. Does anyone know if the orange ones are going to permanently replace all other generic Buprenorphine? Also, are any other patients experiencing loss in quality? Thank you ## I have just received the same orange 8 mg 153 Subutex from MFG Actavis Elizabeth...I haven't taken any yet becaus I am not sure what to expect as far as changes, I have been taking the MFG Hi-Tech 8 mg Subutex for a year and a half. Des anyone have any experience taking the new Actavis 8 mg Subutex switching from other brands... ## Hello, Sammy! How are you? It's an anti-nausea & anti-vomiting pill. The med itself starts with an "O" but I can't recall the full name. ## Hi Philipok, The white round pill you're describing with R on one side and 153 on the other, reportedly contains 4mgs of Ondansetron - used for nausea & vomiting. For verification, the manufacturer is Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Inc. and the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 55111-153. You can also view an image of the pill by clicking on the NDC link above. I hope this helps! ## A white round pill imprinted with R 153 is ondansetron 4mg, a generic for zofran. I take it everyday for nausea. The downside is it's extremely bad for your heart. However it's helpful if you take a lot of medicine that causes vomiting. ## Zofran/ondan...

I have been on subutex for 2 years and just got my prescription from the pharmacy and it changed to an oval orange half moon one side 153 on the other strength 8mg. I am curious if anyone has knowledge on these pills and there opinion I prefer the ones I'm use to which are small white pill made by hitech because they dissolve quickly. I have not taken any yet I would appreciate any feedback from someone who has switched to them or had feedback in comparison to other subutex pills thanks ## I also got the same pills from the pharmacy. and i also took the little white pills. I have taken my dose today and im not noticing any difference yet. But im really hoping i wont be dealing with any withdrawls from changing. these pills are also more expensive where im from, im not a happy camper...

Oblong shape, T imprint on one side. 153 on the other. Smaller then a 10mg loratab ## @curious, You never mentioned what color the pill was? So far I've only found one other description online suggesting that a 'yellow' oblong pill with 153 on one side and T on the other is identified as a 15mg generic Meloxicam tablet. This medication is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug used for treating symptoms of osteoarthritis / rheumatoid arthritis. There aren't any other specific details or attributes listed on its size, country of origin, manufacturer, etc... however it's still the closest relevant match that I've seen to date. Hope this helps!

I use these and they work great. I was on the Roxanna Pharma ones that were circular in size and these orange ones work way better. Wish I had been on them from the start. ## I just got those oblong orange ones today with Half moon - bottle says it's Subutex. Has anyone had these? Are they better than the white ones? I don't know, do I take them the same? ## Are these new orange subutex time released? ## Can you please post a picture if you can. Thanks! ## @post #1, Reviews from the following discussion thread do "suggest" that it works better than the white ones as well as the strips: Discuss/orange-subutex-153-half-moon-286803.htm @post #2, No, these one's are not time-released... they are sublingual though. @post #3, Navigating google, I wasn't able to locate ...

The best possible thing you could ever do for yourself is to reduce and stop taking these as fast as possible. I was fortunate to have the time off of work to do this after 2 surgeries. I was on buprenorphine for several years. I grew tired of being a slave to this medicine and reduced to 2 mgs. Per day. Then I quit taking them completely. I will admit, it is hell for 3 weeks. Then 4th week was not so fun either but, you will start to notice how much better you gradually feel. Since the 1/2 life of buprenorphine is 12 hours vs. Oxycodone being 4 hours. It takes roughly 4 weeks to rid your body of this DEVIL. Its very rough to get through, some days you just feel like giving up, especially after the 1st week! I shouldnt have lived through my bodies toxicicity of infection when my bowel r...

I can say from experience these new 153 are no good...I cant say it more clearly - They suck!! If you depend on relief from your daily dose of subutex like i do, then be ready for a major LET DOWN ## Soooooooooooo True. I don't know what to do I hate these. ## Yea I think they suck, white ones so much better ## I just got these too and I am experiencing the same thing! Someone please help! ## Horrible, i feel like they giving me sugar pills, seriously feel like they're not 8mg. I'm trying to identify a pill imprinted with U 153. There's also a cross score (X) on the back like you could cut into four pieces. Thanks for any help. ## Is it possible that the marking is actually U 159? Can you please double check and post back? There is tablet with that marking that is scored in a cross shape, it is manufactured by Unichem Pharmaceuticals, and they list it as containing 4mgs of Tizanidine, which is muscle relaxant that is used to the pain associated with sprains, strains, and spasms. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, and headache. It is a relatively mild one, not nearly as potent as some of the others that are available.

These are horrible. I have been taking these for about 3 weeks now. Along with the reduction in potentcy I am experiencing headaches. I was put on these at my request after 2 major abdominal surgeries after my bowel ruptured in 3 places. After being on Fentanyl and dilauded for 6 months in the Hospital and then 3 months after being released. After being on such strong opiates from the surgeries, I discussed this with my Doctor and we.agreed on Buprenorphine. Since this switch to the new oblong orange 153 pills I have to say, it is a noticeable difference and increased daily headaches. ## Hi Joel, Sorry to hear about your experience with the new Buprenorphine tablet. I've actually seen a few other posts on this site from patients who also agreed that this orange tablet wasn't as ...

I want to start taking subutex 153 orange half moon shape pill in morning when I wake up. I took my last dose of opiates around 8 pm. Will I go into withdrawal? I am very scared that I will. I have done it before with suboxone and thought I was dying and it's something I never want to experience ever again. ## Hello, Lisa! How are you? Unless your doctor has instructed you otherwise, you need to be in full withdrawal, before you take Suboxone, otherwise it may throw you into dangerous precipitated withdrawals, again. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. white round pill w/ R on one side and 153 on the other. and another pill w/ 16 on one side and 99 on the other.(numbers could be reversed??) ## R153 is Ondansetron 4mgs, a generic for Zofran. This is used to help prevent nausea. The other pills markings are actually GG 91, this is Lorazepam 0.5mgs, a generic for Ativan. This is used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders.

They are subutex. I went to Actavis' website and searched their products. Here is the link to the product page where you can find the orange oval 153 half moon pill: actavis.com/products/key-products/product-search Hope this helps and is proof instead of he said she said. ## Hello Mindy, Unfortunately your link doesn't actually take us to a page that has any direct information regarding the buprenorphine pill you are talking about. I have always found Actavis/Teva to have the most complicated website to navigate and thus I would rather just post information regarding this pill from the NIH and FDA directly. So below is all of the info I have grabbed from the NIH website directly regarding this pill. Clicking on the NDC link provided below will take you to a page with more inform...
