I had back surgery in November 2014, and have chronic pain. I am in Syracuse NY, and I can't find any doctor that will prescribe opiates because they see I have gone the route of doctor. I need one that gives opiates no matter what my past says.

However, the problem is that a private doctor is not allowed to prescribe Methadone for addiction/maintenance treatment, they can only prescribe it for severe, chronic pain. I was taking oxycodone for break through pain and MS Contin for long acting relief. Recently my NP at the pain clinic told me that oxy is no longer being given to patients because of the Obama Care crackdown on narcotic abuse. This medication is important for those of us that have chronic pain. I have been in 2 car accidents and have spinal stenosis, 3 bulging disks and nerve damage in my left leg. Working is difficult but necessary right now. Looking for a doctor who isn't afraid to write me a script for Roxicodone. I have been on 5's ER for 10 years and have built up a tolerance to them, I don't abuse them, I am allergic to anti inflammatory drugs which causes anaphylaxis... I have severely herniated discs in my neck and back and injections don't work. Physical therapy made the pain unbearable, the headaches and constant ear aches are unbearable. The only thing that works for me are the Roxicocdones. I don't think it's fair that people who don't need them and abuse them ruin it for those of us who need them... can't someone please point me in the right direction here in Syracuse NY?

I had twins 10 months ago and since have had intense neck and upper back pain. Had an mri that found degenerative disc and facet disease, a bulging and hernaited disc etc. Have been getting norco from gyno for past 6months and it helps so much during the day so i can take care of twins. Been to two pain docs who will only give ibuprofen and muscle relaxers. I feel like they are not listening to me. Last one said im too young for the hydrocodone or surgery! Thats not acceptable to me. Any one have luck with docs in this area?

Anyone know of a Dr near syracuse or rochester ## If you're just looking for a doctor to prescribe you Phentermine, I believe any general physician in your area should be able to take care of that for you without having to deal with the hassles of doctor hunting. Running a simple Google search for "doctors in syracuse NY" brings up a variety of different physicians and webpages that may be what you're looking for. I hope this helps!

Adderall contains mixed Amphetamine salts and it a controlled substance that requires a doctor's prescription. Have you consulted a doctor for assistance?

A couple of times a certain pharmasist at the Syracuse Kinny Drugs has told me that they are out of Adderall, but when pressed he "finds" some and fills my perscription that same day. Is there any excuse for this and have others had a similar experience? It happened again today and I've already opened a conversation with Kinny HQ by phone about this, and they were very nice, and said they are going to look into it. ## It could just be that their store is out, and he may have to get it from another store in order to fill your prescription. I have had that happen with pharmacies several times, they were out, but were able to get something for me from another one that wasn't too far away, I just had to wait a bit for it to arrive, so I could pick up my refill. Nature Thyroid sure is available from your pharmacy if you have a doctor who will prescribe it. My wife has to drive 250 miles from Syracuse to New York City every 3 months to see her doctor who WILL Rx this. She hasn't found anyone in Central New York who will prescribe it ... BUT IT HELPS HER. ## Hi Mark, Unfortunately, it's impossible to know ahead of time what doctors will prescribe, as that is based on their own discretion. Have you thought about asking your doctor for a referral? Maybe he/she knows of another doctor closer to your area that can prescribe Nature Thyroid. I hope this helps!
