JOINT PAIN IN ELIQIUS USERS CAN BE HARMFUL
2 Replies RSS
I experienced extreme muscle and joint pain while taking Eliquis I reported this problem to my doctor and the nurse told me to tolerate the pain (can you imagine!?). I contact the pharmaceutical company and was told that join pain can, especially the knees, can suggest internal bleeding in that area. Needless to say I stop taking it immediately. The Doctor has put me on Xarelto. After a month's use I'm plagued the same problems. They now want to put me on coumadine. Hope that works for me ## Hello, Olivia! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problems that you're having. Yes, joint pain might be due to bleeding, but that's very rare. In most cases, it's just a side effect and, for many people, will taper off after about 4 to 6 weeks. If there are no signs associ... ...

I have lowe chronic back pain, and artritis in my right hip which causes pain that radiates into my knee, I am constiatly in pain. ## Paddy, I am 63yrs old and suffer what appears to be the same pain as you!! It has gotten progressively worse in last 4 yrs. It starts deep in my right hip, and continues down to my knee... The pain is terrible n will stop me in the midst of anything I'm trying to do. Sometimes the pain attacks when I'm laying in bed, n I don't understand as there's no pressure on hip when laying down. This pain occurs everyday after I'm up n on legs for over an hour. The mornings are better I believe due to methadone medication @ 90mgs I take every morning about 8am. This helps until noon n then the pain begins if I walk or stand longer than 20minutes.... ...

how to stop taking lyrica after only 3 weeks

I've only been taking lyrica for 3 weeks. 75mg twice a day for a week then 150 mg twice a day for 2 weeks. I need back surgery and lyrica isn't something I should have been subscribed. The specialist told me to stop taking it but now I'm reading that I need to wean off. Do I still need to wean off if I've only been on it 3 weeks? The Dr. went on vacation for 3 weeks so I can't ask him ## I have been using Lyrica 200 mg twice a day in excess of a year. My pharmacy failed to request a refill request as they said they would and I was out for about 5 days. I've had 5 toes amputated and had pain in my feet. During the period I was out, it felt like pins & needles (or your feet waking up from being asleep) all the way up to my knees! The dr. explained that this is ... ...

I'm a 21 year old, female athlete. I had surgery on my left knee (3rd one) after tearing my meniscus in December. Recovered quickly and started PT within a week after surgery. A couple months after, my calf started to swell to an abnormal size and I had pain in the back on my knee through my calf. I also started to get chest pains and dizziness. Saw a few doctors - some thought I had a Baker's cyst and didn't think the swelling was bad. Even got an EKG to rule out any heart problems, everything came back normal. It wasn't until my trainer sent me to get an ultrasound in February that they found a DVT in my femoral vein. Sent me for a CAT scan and found that it broke off and "showered" around both lungs. Immediately started me on xarelto, which gave the worst side... ...

Muscle tightness in jaw and knees while taking Flecainide
2 Replies RSS
I started taking flecainide in Aug after being diagnosed with a-fib. In September I noticed my jaw getting tight and popping while chewing. I had TMJ when I was younger, so I pulled out the mouth piece and wore it for a couple of weeks at night. This seems to help, but I've also noticed pain in my knee as if the muscles seem to not want to straighten out. Sometimes the pain radiates into my feet and toes. Icing helps some but it is very frustrating since I'm on my feet all the time. ## I was taking flecainide along with elequis and ached all over. I stopped the flecainide. However my jaws still ached and the top of my legs still ached including the knee pain. I have gone off the elequis (blood thinner) for short periods and problem goes away. We traveled to Greece in August of 2009, a week after the symptoms first appeared, and while I was still in incredible physical pain. Sorry about the pain that you're in. The two ingredients are 7.5mgs of the narcotic Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The Acetaminophen can have some slight blood thinning effect, so I'd suggest checking with your doctor, before taking it, to see if it is safe for you to do so. Learn more Lortab details here. Since you were taking it for several months, it could take 2 weeks, or so, for things to improve.
