I have been on this medication for three days and I am experiencing the worst stomach pains. Has anyone else ever experience this? ## Stomach cramps is a side effect of this RX but its a less common side effect. I have a few stomach cramps but I find that it goes away if you snack on something before and right after you take it. It works for me when I have cramps. You may want to try it. =) ## Yes, you should definitely try to avoid taking this on an empty stomach, like Kristina suggested. I started topamax 25 mg 5 days ago as a mood stabilizer. I gained 80+ lbs from previous ones and antidepressants. I had no side effects until this morning I woke up feeling nauseous. I haven't been able to smoke a cigarette at all today and my stomach has been in severe cramps since I ate a sandwich about three hours ago. I feel as though I could vomit. I also noticed I am urinating more frequently even though I haven't increased my water intake (I always drink a lot). My question is, is e weightless going to come as a result of this stomach pain and not being able to eat? Will the stomach pain subside? I'm supposed to go up to 50mg in two days. I am a vegetarian and for the first time i ate eggs two days back and i did not like it at all. Can you tell me more detailed information about Omiprosol? I’m wondering if anyone else has suffered stomach pain as side effect of gabapentin? I've been on it for more than a month and a half. I have terrible constipation as well. ## Those are listed as possible side effects of this Gabapentin, along with nausea, dizziness, headache, and mood changes. I've experienced it myself, but to any degree of severity, and usually an acid reducer helps. Are you on any other medications? Have you ever had stomach issues prior to taking it? My doc prescribed 15mg Amrix for a "severely herniated disc. This is the only new thing I'm taking. Today was 3rd day & my stomach hurts extremely badly. I took a Prilosec, Zantac 150mg & TUMS, to no avail. Stomach pain is listed in the Package Insert. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks! ## Sorry to hear about your situation. I have 2 weeks taken velviq and I have 2 days having a sensation in my right side it feels like gald blather pain .I have my remove 5 years ago and the pain is horrible, I can compare this pain similar to that one and is hard to bread. I am diabetic since last 20 years. Recently my doctor prescribed Pioz 7.5. I am on insulin. I am taking Human Actrapit 3 times before every meal and Lantus at night.
