Stomach Burning

What can I take in addition to omeprazole for stomach burning while taking Xeralto? Will lactaid tablet help in addition to omeprazole? Need temporary help. It;s weekend of the 4th.I read this on a forum but can't find it again to make sure it said lactaid. Please help . ## Hello, Pat! How are you? Did you find a solution, yet? Hi Doctor I am 68 years old woman. For the past 15 years I am suffering from irritation in tongue, throat and stomach while taking hot substance like chillies, peppers etc. I have almost completely AVOIDED chillies, peppers etc for the past 5 years. Anyhow when pazol and gelusil were taken, felt relief temporarily. Last 1 year every 2 months I get diahorea thrice and cured after taking antibiotic and loose motion medicine and LOST 6 kgs during that last loose motion. In sept 2011 endoscopy, colonoscopy and related blood tests and liver tests were taken and no abnormality (except 2mm mild chronic duodenitis). I took tryptomer 10 mg in the night after food as per my doctor who prescribed it along with other medicines for my severe stomach burning sensation. I am happy to say that I did not get up at 2 am early in the morning as usual but got up at 7.30 am in the morning. But I am feeling drowsy today throughout the day and am not able to do my routine work. I would like to find out whether there is any lesser dose available in the market or if I have to use half of the tablet? Please suggest the remedy.

i hav problem of frequent dirrhoia,fullness ,blotting after eating,burning in easophagus and not proper evacuation in the mornoing.Recently I had dirrohia after which i had cipro-oz for 5days as prescribed by my physician.After 3-4 days again i had prob of having 3-4 stools accompnied by burning ,bloating,fullness nausia as usual. That could be due to something such as GERD, which is when excess stomach acid refluxes up into your esophagus. But that is just one possibility, there are other health issues that may cause such symptoms. Have you consulted your doctor? That would be the best way to get to the root of the problem. Does it happen at any particular time, such as after you eat? Or after indulging in alcoholic beverages?

I've been on 40 mgs of viibryd for 7 weeks. I've noticed a loss of appetite, which is good. However, recently I've noticed a mild burning sensation seemingly at the top of my stomach. I will have that looked at when I get home. Does this sound familiar to any of you? I have been on Xarelto for a couple years. Suddenly I have begun to have burning in the chest and underarms not related to heartburn. Doctor said she didn't know what it is. Hello. I have searched the web and can't seem to find a problem like mine while coming off tramadol. I have horrible stomach burning and pain that extends down both sides of my rib cage. It happened once before when I was coming off tramadol and you think I would have learned to stay away from this poison. Has anyone else had pain and terrible burning down both sides of their rib cage when coming off tramadol? This is day 2 for me. Yesterday I had heart burning and found difficult to eat, however I was hungry and ate bread with salami. Since morning there after I have no heart burning but a very mild pain or heaviness in the center of my stomach just at the center of my lungs from where they start curving. This is accompanied by sensation of vomiting resulting in huge saliva formation but the vomit does not come. I have taken Eno, zantac, and pantocid D but seems to have little relief though the saliva formation and the feeling of vomiting has stopped but have a feeling of half stuck burp.
