How are you? You need to be in full withdrawal from everything else, before you can take Suboxone, unless your doctor has instructed otherwise. If you take it too soon, if can throw you into very dangerous precipitated withdrawals. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I WAS PRESCRIBED SAVELLA FOR NEUROPATHY. I'M NOW ON THE HIGHER DOSE WITH LOTS OF HOT FLASHES. PRETTY FOGGY WITH IT ALSO. AS FAR AS THE PAIN, IT SEEMS TO BE HELPING. I'M HOPING THESE HOT FLASHES SUBSIDE AS TIME GOES BY. ## Both of the symptoms you stated can be normal side effects of this medication. How long have you been taking it, now? It may take about 2 weeks, or so, but the side effects should start to taper off as your body adjusts to the medication, but can expect to experience them, again, anytime you are given a higher dosage. I'm going to make this very clear - do not take suboxone until you're feeling every one of the withdrawal symptoms. My husband and I have been prescribed opiates for almost ten years w/ morphine er 60mg 2*per day each for 4 years but I wish the dr n pharmacy would have been more demanding and stress to wait til you're in full wd before taking subs and they didn't say at all that morphine is the worst cuz it binds to your receptors long-term. So just to warn anybody that is going to transition from morphine to suboxone 8mg strips' I strongly urge you to wait til u feel every symptom cuz it put us in full wd within 30 min and we waited 24hrs before taking one strip!! Omfg......Thank god we had each other. So another thing I really strongly suggest is that you have some...

I got an RX for suboxone the other day and i will be finishing up all my norco and starting subs later tonight. I have been taking norco for about 4 years and i can take up to 60 pills of 10mg norco in a day! i take 4 at a time and keep taking them until i feel normal. my tolerance is incredibly high. so in the morning ill usually take up to 20 and i will be good until later. then at night same routine and usually more then 20 and i still function completely normal and nobody even knows im on anything. It is crazy to me how I am a 25 year old female 145lbs and can take that many in a day. well i have spent all my money and savings and i am done with Norco. it has ruined my life and i had to end up quiting my job in the medical field because it was so stressful wondering if i had enough ...

Pls help, I'm finally getting off these stupid loratabs and they are starting me on sub Monday 8am, how long does it take to get loratabs out of your of your system ## You have to be in full withdrawal, before you can start Suboxone, or it could throw you into dangerous precipitated withdrawals. There is no definitive answer that I can give you, because the time frame can vary from person to person, it may take anywhere from 12 hours to several days. The FDA classifies Suboxone as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. When did you stop the Lortab?

if I took a morphine 100mg and wanted to take a seboxin strip 3 hours later would I go into withdrawals or would I be ok I don't really know what would happen I don't want to go into withdrawals if I don't have to ## One of the ingredients in Suboxone is Naloxone, which is added to help prevent the abuse of other narcotics, while someone is under treatment with it…thus yes, it will throw you into dangerous withdrawals. When someone is starting treatment with it, they are specifically told not to take it, until they are already in full withdrawal, to avoid the danger. Both of these are potent narcotics and shouldn't be taken, unless they have been prescribed for you. They have the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, d...

I just had surgery so I was on Percocet for 3 weeks. I was taking them as prescribed 10 mg and I took my last 2 yesterday by 11 am. It's now been over 22 hours. I'm in withdrawl freezing, hot, chills, leg and stomach cramps, no diarrhea yet but I'm wondering if I can go back to taking my subsolv now. I'm on a low mg of subsolv I believe the lowest. Without getting up I believe it's 1 mg. I have read and read these boards and seems to me no one gives a straight answer. Can I start my subsolv again or not after more that 22 hours. Thank you for your help. ## I just posted earlier and just wanted to respond to my own question since I now have an answer. I took my last 2 pills 10 mg of Percocett before 11am yesterday and was concerned with starting my subsolv again witho...

I stopped taking Topamax in July and subsequently starting dosing up with Lamictal. Two weeks ago I was at 150 mg and as of Friday, 8/24 at 175 mg. I had blood work done 8/24 and neurologist says my levels are too low and I'll lose my license. This happened with Topamax 2 years ago, Dr. asked why I wasn't taking it, I was! They asked me the same thing today, if I was taking my meds. Every day, same time. 75 mg in am; 100 mg in pm. Anyone have any ideas as to where its going? ## That is an odd situation. Are you also taking any specific supplements or certain OTC medications with this prescription? I've read a number of different posts on here from patients who say they take a pill and their body just doesn't absorb it. It simply passes through their digestive system into...

Trying to ween myself off Baclofen and noticed persistent incontinence is starting to subside. Anyone else experience this? ## I didn’t put the two together until I switched spasm meds and got the first time in years I didn’t have any issues. Unfortunately I was allergic and am back on baclofen, and it’s a problem again. ## The FDA lists increased urination, and urinary incontinence as being common side effects of Baclofen, along with nausea, drowsiness, and abdominal pain. Ref: Baclofen Information A common side effect is considered to be one that has been known to occur in more than 1%, and no more than 10%, of the people that have tried the medication. How are you doing, now? Are you seeing continued improvement? ## thanks for asking. actually, weening down Baclofen...

Well yesterday was my last day of subs for me. I tapered myself all the way down to .5mg a day. I'm ok today but my back is starting to mess with me, but I'm fine. The highest dose I've ever taken was 8mg but didn't like the way it made me feel. I've been on subs for almost 5yrs now and it's just time to stop. I'M SICK AND TIRED OF BEING SICK AND TIRED!! It all started with a real bad car accident in which I rolled my car 4 times on I95 in Virginia almost 11yrs ago. Was put on pain pills and the next thing you know I was using oxy's and H main streaming it. Got clean then went right back to it. Went to methadone clinic, and then switch to subs and here I am almost 5yrs later. The hardest part for me right now is that I have a full time job that I like, an...

I am starting my suboxone treatment tomorrow after I'm into the ever dreaded WD's. My 1st prescription is for 8 mg. 1/2 a pill every hour until the symptoms have subsided. I have been taking 14-17 10 mg. hydrocodones a day for about 1 1/2 yrs. I'm very scared of how I am going to feel for the next few days. I am also dealing with a lot of anxiety. Does anyone know if I can take a 1/2 or whole xanax while taking Suboxone to help with anxiety? I'm reading conflicting reports on this. I've got a call into my dr., but have not heard back yet. I am very concerned about how I will be able to function for the next few days or weeks. Yesterday was my first dr. visit and prescription. I really want to kick this awful habit. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank You...

My husband has taken subs on his own in the past and quit oxycodone and did fine. this time around he was taking about 40mg methadone a day. He waited about 50 hrs before starting the bupe. He at first took a quarter and then a half and couldnt really tell a difference so we figured since it wasnt worse he must not be getting perciptated withdrawals. So this evening he has been feeling really awful but it isnt helping him to take bupe .He has done about 2 throughout the day. He is very restless and miserbal he cant sleep he is in a lot of withdrawal. My question is if it was from preciptated withdrawals wouldnt this have happened earlier in the day when he first started to take the bupe. My other question is does he just need to be taking more than normal for it to work? also if he wants t

After two years on apixaban I have developed an itchy rash. It's subsurface and is most intense around my waist. My doctor wants me to change to xarelto. I am delaying starting another blood thinner until the rash subsides. Can anyone share their experience with these symptoms and their solution ? Thanks. ## While this medication is listed by the FDA as causing a rash as a side effect, or as a possible allergic reaction, it is odd that it would appear after 2 years of taking it, though we are all different, and I am not a doctor. how long do you have to wait to start taking subs or zubsolv, how sick do you have to be? Can I cut the pill in have I don't know if I need a whole one ## Hello, Pen! How are you? You should follow your doctor's instructions for starting it. You need to be in full withdrawals, otherwise the Naloxone in this medication could throw you into dangerous precipitated withdrawals. They are not time released, so they can be cut to lower the dosage, if your prescriber approves. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I am 61 Years old, i got operated lymphnode. After biopsy it says Tuburcolus Lyphedentis. Doctor Subscribed me AKT4 one sascet daily for six months. Do i need to do any test before starting the medicine. LFT has not done. ## AKT-4 kit is an anti-tuberculosis drug containing: 1 (tab) ethambutol 800 mg + isoniazid 300 mg + 2 (tabs) pyrazinamide 750 mg + 1 (cap) rifampicin 450 mg. This is so you can take them altogether, rather than getting a prescription filled for 4 separate drugs. For proper instructions on how and when to take your dose, I would strongly recommend discussing this with your doctor since he/she is the one who prescribed it to you, and may insist that you take it a certain way. However, I think that your doctor should've given you instructions or a patient prescribing...

I have now stopped taking the med for 5 days now and the pain is not going away. Will it eventually subside? Please help!! ## Hello, Martha! How are you? Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatories are notorious for causing stomach damage, so you may be developing an ulcer or gastritis. Have you consulted your doctor? You need to have this checked out, so you can be treated appropriately, if needed.
