I am taking femedipine er and clonodine 3 times a day and for spikes 0.2. Some days it keeps me down to 130/80 but some days im 155/95. What would you recommend to keep blood pressure level steady? ## Hello, Perla! How are you? You will never hit one steady number and stay there, it will always change, according to the NIH, depending on your activity levels, the foods you eat and etc. Have you been checking it at the same time of day, or at different times? Has anything changed in your diet? Do you eat a lot of salty or fatty foods? Have you been checking it while sedentary or after being active? Often, the easiest things we can do to help are proper exercise and dietary improvements, such as keeping our sodium and fat intake as low as possible.

For 6 years I was taking Losar H 1 tab (morning) And Amtas AT 25 1 tab (at night). With these two tabs my BP used to be 130/80. Whenever I tried to reduce the dose my BP use to spike upwards. Since Jan 15 I started exercises like brisk walking, climbing hills, aerobics and weight training. During one year as per my doctor's advice Amtas AT 25 was stopped as BP readings came down to as low as 110/70. Now with only Losar H in the morning my readings are 115/75. Can exercise reduce BP dose? ## Hello, Sham! How are you? Yes, exercise can lower it for some people and so can dietary improvements. Long-term use of the medications creates the risk of liver and kidney damage, or failure, according to the U.S. FDA, so diet and exercise are actually much safer. Is there anything else I can hel...

I am a 45 year old male. I was taking Losanorm H 50 - 1 no and Concor Cor 2.5 - 02 for my BP condition and the average BP was maintained around 130/90. My BP in the range of 130/90 and I am taking Telpres - 40 mg in a day. Recent Blood Report show there is an increase in TGL count. Please advise whether this because of BP tablet that I am taking. Seek your advise. ## My mother is 83 years old . She is taking Telpress 20 mg morning and Stamlo 2.5 evening. No side effects at these dosage levels. Her BP a week ago was 140/90 . On 5/9/12 , she went to firm up the cataract surgery date and tests . Her BP was 190/90 . I think this may due to stress on the day of consultation with Eye specialists. The physician told her to telpress 40 mg in the morning and Stamlo 2.5 in the evening . Will there be any side effects ? She is staying alone . In case of drowsiness , what should she do apart from reducing the dosage and consulting the Doctor

That said, although it may appear to be safe to use together, I would still encourage you to contact your prescribing doctor first or a pharmacist who can assure you of this information. @Tom, Have you discussed any potential treatment options with a pain management doctor or specialist? If not, this may be your best starting point as they can make the most appropriate recommendations based on your medical history and so forth... I hope you both are doing well!
