tablets ## Suboxone Info Click Here ## i have been on methadone for 4 yrs. i have weened down from 100mg to 30mg over the past 6 months. i am curios if suboxone would be proper to try to get off the methadone completely. ## Yes u dont want to be on methadone either but i am taking suboxone because i have been clean off heroin for ten months, but its a never ending cycle. For you to get off methadone i would talk to ur doctor and search other detoxing treatments because you may or may not want my help but if you get on the suboxone you will get hooked just like the methadone. I know a couple that did it because they didnt want on methadone and thought suboxone would be better but know they have been stuck with it for ten years and cant seem to get off.. and the biggest thing if some peop... ...

Hi my name is RADAMES and I'm detoxing soboxon ..I was trying to change my life and counted on the med to stop using drugs but now that my life has changed I decided to stop using soboxon ..went into a five day detox witch I was detoxed with methadone but now that I'm going on my fourth day home,,I still feel bad withdraws..I want to know what over the counter meds I could take that will help with the withdraws?? ## Hello, Radames! How are you? There isn't really anything over the counter that will help much. The issue here is that Methadone is actually much harder to stop and causes more severe withdrawal effects than Suboxone. Thus, doing a taper from the Suboxone would likely have been a lot easier. The FDA classifies these medications as opiates that are most commonly us... ...

There is no way to pick one, both risk causing possible liver damage, impaired liver function, or full liver failure, as reported by the FDA. The best thing to do is to discuss it with your doctor, so they can help you decide which one is safest for you to try. Is there anything else I can help with? ...

Does anyone recommend subsolv over suboxone ## Some people prefer one over the other, depending on which seems to work better for them. Which has your doctor recommended? Can anyone that's taking one of these medications chime in? The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ...

Ive been on suboxone for 4yrs for chronic pain&addiction but i cant find a sub dr anywhere, will medicaid pay for me to go bk on pain mefs? ## Hello, Phyllis! How are you? I'm very sorry that you're in pain. It will actually most likely be the doctors that you'll have a problem with, most will not prescribe pain medications for someone that has had a prior addiction issue. It may be easier for you to just stick with Suboxone, or to use Methadone. The FDA classifies these medications as being narcotic, so they have the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Klonopin Soboxone Hydrocodone
Post a Reply
Hello I just found this forum, and first I want to say I have taken Klonopin 1 mg a day for 20 years for my anxiety disorder. 9 years ago after a csection I became addicted to hydrocodone. Recently I have tapered down to only 1 to 2 a day and have been trying so hard, to quit.Anyway I had a friend give me some 5mg Suboxone pills. For a few days I have taken just a little of the pill maybe 1mg of it gets me through the day but after researching it I am worried . I was going to go to the doctor to see if they would give me those to stop the hydrocodone addiction. But there is no way I could ever stop the Klonopin. I would rather be addicted to it than go through my monstrous panic attacks. Would these small doses be safe together! 1mg Klonopin and 1 maybe 1.5 mg Suboxone? There is no way I c ...

Hi I'm so scared to totally come off suboxone.. I've been taking 8mg of subs for about 5 years .. I've never been prescribed them I just found them wherever I could. 3 weeks ago I went from 1-8mg a day to 1-4mg a day.. I was craving a little but no serious withdrawal symptoms.. Now I only have 10 subs left and I can't get them anymore ... This will last me about 20 days ....what can I do in 20 days to have the least amount of withdrawal symptoms .. Please help me I'm scared out of my mind!!!!! ## Well, to be honest, the best thing you could do would be to seek medical assistance. The Buprenorphine in Suboxone is a very potent narcotic and to stop taking it and avoid severe withdrawals, it needs to be tapered as slowly as possible. Depending on how severe the addictio... ...

I've been on soboxone for 3 years. I'm now having a bad bout of Colitis, Very painful. Day 5 off soboxone and my Percocets are still not breaking through? Help???? ## Because suborn is a blocker . You would of had to cut back on suboxin or actually quit all together to be effected by the pain killers . so there is nothing you can do about it honey you cannot take a handful of painkillers to override the Suboxonethats where stuff gets dangerous . Also suboxin was not made to ttake three years in a row . It was supposed to be used to get off of Hard drugs ween yourself down and be over. Now you may need a detox because of ' subs ' or you need to wean yourself darling honey that's what it supposed to be a little bit less every week until nothing ...

I took a very slim strip of soboxone last night for the first time. Its been 15 hours ago. Is it ok to take a norco 10 now ? ## Hello, Van! How are you? It usually requires a break of about 72 hours, for another opiate to work, after having taken Suboxone, but you should follow your doctor's instructions. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. robery drug store due to with drawl from soboxone

son alledly robbed drug store after 6 days without availibility of Soboxon. Can this cold turkey withdrawl cause a person to rob a drug to obtain Suboxone? ## Hi Ron, Sorry to hear about what happened with your son. Based on what I've seen in other Suboxone-related threads here, this drug can influence serious personality changes. They are, however, not usually regarded as 'severe' unless the medication is being heavily abused. Some personality changes may also be a result of withdrawal symptoms, but the only types of people you hear about robbing places to get their fix are those who feel they are in grave danger without it. So I can only imagine that he must've had an extremely high tolerance to even reach that point of withdrawal. Do you know whether or not your son w... ...

Could any one tell me if there is a law that says a Dr. Cannot prescribe suboxine and benzodiazapines ## Hello, Mary! How are you? No, there is not. There are directives that were issued by the DEA telling them to be very careful, when doing so and some doctors treating for addiction with Suboxone just don't want to prescribe it, but there is no law saying they definitively can't prescribe them together. In the past on here, I had erroneously used the term regulation, when referring to the directives from the DEA, but that really wasn't the correct term. These things aren't set as law, just suggestions for the doctors, to tell try to help stem the flow of abuse, diversion and improper prescribing. Some doctors also prefer that the patient see an appropriate specialist fo... ...

I want to start back taking soboxone, but am afraid after taking 2 days of ultram, that I will go into withdrawals. How long should I wait before taking soboxone?CLCDR ## It is doubtful that you would experience withdrawals, if you have only taken it for 2 days, the Tramadol in it, while being an opioid, it not like other narcotics and is not very potent. What has your doctor advised? ## I've been on suboxone for 3 and am finally starting to taper off. About a yr.and a hlf. has anyone had good results on soboxone ## I have. I was addicted to pain meds for years stemming from a knee injury in college. When I finally told my doctor about all the extra pills I would take, i.e. buying them on the street, he advised me to try suboxone. I did, and I started at a higher dose, and it's fairly easy to taper the dose down in the beginning, just make sure you do it with your doc's help and let him/her know how you are feeling, physically. It is a little harder when you start going down from 2 mgs a day to 1, then 1/2 then a 1/4, and so forth. I've had more sucess taking half my dose in the morning and half in the evening, that could easily be psychological though. Anyhow, it is possible for this treatment to work, just don't try to wean yourself off t... ...
