i take atarax and effexor in perscription form. i recieved a pill says it is attarax but looks nothing like my old atarax pills/ the size looks like the zertex but i cant be sure. it is small and round has 60E imbedded on one side and PA on the other side ## I believe the marking you are looking at may actually be 308 PA and, if so, yes it does contain 25mgs of Hydroxyzine, the active ingredient in Aterax. I found some small white pills that have an MP and the #9 on one side and nothing on the other... They look like my atenolol but not the same inscription on it so I'm afraid to take it...in case it isn't atenolol! I had visitors recently and found these in the bathroom.. Thanks. ## Unfortunately I couldn't find an exact match to your description in the drug databases. The closest match being "V" on one side and "2530" on the other side sitting above a score line. This is also noted to be a round yellow pill as opposed to white. Odds are that your pill could be either manufactured outside of the U.S. or that it is an over the counter medication, as OTC meds aren't required to be listed in the drug databases.
