Have a pill and don't know what it is. It is fairly small, light orange, round, scored on one side and just the number 5 on the other side. Any idea what it is? ## I'm not 100% certain, since the imprint is rather vague, but there is a 5mg Citalopram tablet that meets this description. It is an SSRI class antidepressant and may cause side effects, such as nausea, headache, dry mouth and weight changes. You can learn more Citalopram details here. Is there anything I can help with? ...

It had a line on one side and an s on the other side very small and orange ## Hi lulu, I haven't found a definitive match, but from what little bit I could gather there are reports suggesting that this particular pill may contain 40mgs of Famotidine (Durater), made by a company called Senosiain Labs in Mexico. If this is the case, it would help explain why references are so hard to come by on US search engines. Apparently they list it as being "peach" colored and not orange. It's also reported to be about a quarter of an inch in diameter; but maybe you could try contacting the manufacturer directly to see if they can verify this for you. More details (although in spanish) on this medication from Senosiain Labs can also be viewed here: ...

My dr prescribed this pill and told me it's a sleeping pill to help me sleep better and relax but looking it up doesn't say anything about being a sleeping pill. So I'm just confused as to what it could be? ## Is the marking on it P 127 or R 127? A tablet with R 127 on it is manufactured by Actavis and they list it as containing 0.1mg of Clonidine which has many medical uses, including treating high blood pressure, anxiety, ADHD, and sleep disorders. Pill is round and varies from orange to.peach to light pink its small has no markings on one side has number 21 on the other side with a line through the middle and either the number 6 or a capitol g below the line ## Hi michael, I haven't come across any images to verify the placement of the "21" and "G", but have found several reports implying that this is the imprint on a round pink 25mg Meclizine HCL tablet, used for treating symptoms of motion sickness (i.e. nausea/vomiting/dizziness). If you want to look it up, the manufacturer is listed as Rugby Pharma, and the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 0536-1018. As I said before I have yet to find an image of this pill. However the description sounds like it may be a strong prospect. Hope this helps! ## I f... ...

small round orange pill with a number five on it ## Hi Tiff, There's actually two different pills that fit this description. The first is Bisacodyl (5 mg), which is typically prescribed for relief of constipation. And the other pill is Citalopram hydrobromide (10 mg); which is an antidepressant drug used to treat major depression associated with mood disorders. Do either of these two drugs sound familiar? The Bisacodyl pill appears to be more of a shiny reflective color of orange with the number 5 in black font if that helps!
