Wondering what kind of pill this is? It has an M inside a box on one side and N8 on the other side. It's also orange and hexagon-shaped. ## Hello Barry, I hope you are doing well. I have found some information on your pill. The imprint of the M inside of a box is the mark of the company Mallinckrodt. I was able to find the manufacturers website and fortunately they have pictures of all of their generic medicines. The only pill that matches your description is an orange, hexagonal (6 sided) tablet with imprint 8N M, indicating Buprenorphine and Naloxone Sublingual Tablets. It looks like the marking is actually 8N, easily read upside down as N8. (NDC 0406-8020). Inactive Ingredients: - Acesulfame Potassium - Anhydrous Citric Acid - FD&C Yellow No. 6 - Anhydrous Lactose - Lactose M...

Hey... I just got a suboxone and by the markings it is supposed to be an 8/2 mg suboxone, but there was no image available on the internet. It has an N 8 on the front... and an arrow in the back. I've seen this question already asked a few times, but I got confused by your answers. Thanks. ## Mike, If it's a 8 and arrow on reverse its subutex 8mg. If not the possibilities are endless. If you received these from a legit source it should come with product insert information. If not I wouldn't risk taking something that can cause severe withdrawals if not taken as prescribed. Good luck ## The tablet with the N8 on, with the logo on the opposite is an 8/2mg Suboxone tablet. Please help. I found this and don't know what it is? The pill is white, round and has an arrow looking thing on one side and N8 on the other. I need to know as quickly as possible please. ## Hello, Lindry! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Hi-Tech Pharma and they list it as being an 8/2mg generic for Suboxone (Buprenorphine 8 mg / Naloxone 2 mg - NDC 50383-287). The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. My hubby and I found 2 of these pills. They are shaped like a stop sign, orange in color and have N8 on one side with a wierd shape on the other. Please anyone who might know -------- Help!!!!! ## This is something called Subutex, it has 8mg of buprenorphine and 2mg of naloxone. It is used to help people detox from opiates such as vicodin, percocet, lortab, etc. The bupreorphone is used to help the withdrawal symptoms and the naloxone is to prevent a person from abusing the bupreoprphone, such as crushing it and snorting it or taking too many. ## umm... sorry but you are wrong. Subotex is a WHITE pill, that is oblong shaped and small. The orange pill that is shaped like a stop sign that you found is called a suboxen, which is an opiate blocker. thats a suboxen its an opiate blocker ## This tablet does contain 8mgs of Suboxone, but it is inaccurate to describe it as an opiate blocker. Suboxone contains the active ingredient Buprenorphine, which IS AN OPIATE! It is used to treat drug addcition and severe, chronic pain. It does, however, have some opiate agonist properties, to prevent people from abusing other drugs while they are taking it. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and dizziness. Read more on it here: Are there any questions?

My friend is sick from opiate withdrawal. He bought what I am told is suboxone - but there are no pictures of this pill in google images It is white and round not oval or hexagon N8 is imprinted. Can anyone help! He is scared to take but also feeling terrible. ## That is generic Suboxone, 8mg/2mg (8mg buprenorphine and 2mg naloxone, the naloxone being inert as long as it is taken sublingually(under your tongue, actually can be allowed to dissolve in your mouth anywhere and will absorb the buprenorphine, and the naloxone does not absorb well sublingually) ## What did you find out? I as well couldn't find them anywhere online... were they real?? Please help... I had seen a white 8 arrow online, but never this n8. Quick reply would be appreciated!! ## I got those too. Ive been on suboxone for 8 years. Since 2006. I know a lot about the pharmaceutical properties of medications from being an addict and being obsessed with learning everything i could about them. I hear these myths about generics not being as good as the brand name and so on, let me tell you something, to become a generic the main ingredients, the ones that actually effect you HAVE to be in the exact same quantities, So if these orange 375's have 8 mg Bup/2 Mg Nal then they will effect you THE EXACT SAME WAY AS a strip ( which I'm on, and was on the old N8's forever, and so glad they have these strips now), have taken the 375's, and its the same. Is the placebo effect that strong? I cant stand hearing friends try and tell me how this medication isn't as good as the ne...

Has a cross-like symbol on the back. ## I was addicted to oxyxotin for 2 years. I did methadone, tried to stop cold turkey, nothing worked. One dat I came across these pills called Suboxone. that is exactly what you have. They are orange, octagon-shaped, N8 on one side and a cross on the other,. The cross is to help you split it in to equal halfs. The way it works is that you put the pill under your tongue (sublingually) and let it melt. it goes through the main vein you have under your tongue that connects to your brain and it blocks the opiate receptors in your brain. you start off at 1 pill a day, 2 at most if needed. but fter using the 1st whole pill, try to use just halfs until you are comfortable. By comfortable I mean not withdrawling. Thats what that pill does. It is a miracle d...

Will I go into rapid withdrawals if I take this pill with an opiate in my system? ## Yes, it could cause dangerous precipitated withdrawals, which may include nausea, dizziness, headache, rebound pain, fever, chills, vomiting, and seizures.
