Trying various sleeping pills starting with Zolpidem
1 Reply RSS
I suffer from insomnia and have been asked to take some Zolpidem to see if it will help. Thank you for any feedback from others who've also been on this medication. ## It can help for short-term treatment of insomnia. Though, the NIH warns that it carries the risk of causing side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, sleep actions, funny taste in mouth, hallucinations, and sleep actions. Have you tried taking it, yet? Are you on any other medications? ...

name of sleeping tablets starting with A ## Hi helen, Ambien is the most common brand name I can think of in this drug category. In clinical trials Ambien has not adequately demonstrated effectiveness in maintaining sleep (unless delivered in a controlled-release form); however, it is effective in initiating sleep. Another brand name is Ativan, which is more geared towards relaxing and relieving anxiety. Is there a specific name you're looking for? ## Sleeping pill dene ke bad kitna der tak eska aser rahata hai......plz tell me ...

vyvanse and sleeping due to being taken off of them
1 Reply RSS
My boyfriend has been on vyvanse for 8 months. Then his new doctor took him off of them and put him on a depression med. All he wants to do is sleep. He doesn't clean or anything any more. He said he wants his life back but he doesn't know what to say to his doctor to get them back. ## Hello, Ana! How is your boyfriend doing? How long ago was the change to his medications made? He could be experiencing withdrawal effects from stopping the Vyvanse, since it's a stimulant, as well as side effects from starting the antidepressant. He may just need to wait a few weeks for his body to adjust, unless his doctor feels otherwise. Other symptoms, as listed by the FDA, may include dizziness, dry mouth and weight changes. ...

Feeling worse with Tyvaso

I just started Tyvaso. I'm on my fourth day at 3 puffs 4X. My SOB has gotten worse and my o2 stats have dropped 10 points at rest. I now need o2 most of the day where I only used it while sleeping. Anyone just starting out and feel the same? ## Hello, Johnny! How are you doing? I'm sorry about the problems you're having. You should consult your doctor, the medication instructions do say that you should do so, if anything worsens, after you start using it. Its typical side effects are listed by the FDA as possibly including nausea, dry throat, dizziness, blood thinning, headache, throat pain, and edema. Are you on any other medications? ...

My doctor prescribed Nebicard 5 and Cardorone after I got an ICD implanted for frequent pulpitations / Tachycardia I am experiencing. I am diagnosed with a calcium score of 2.5 and mild calcification in one of the diagonal arteries and no other heart problems. After starting on Nebicard, I am having dizziness after getting up from a sitting position or sleeping position which persists for a few seconds. I am also experiencing branchospasm while taking a long walk. I did not experience any of these symptoms with other drugs like Metoprolol/Valsartan. I want to know the reason for these symptoms and can I stop Nebicard 5. Presnetly I am taking Nebicard 2.5 two times a day and Cardorone 200 apart from Valsartan 40 and Ecosprin AV 75/10 ...

celexa and baclofen

I would like to know if anyone has had problems taking Baclofen and celexa together, I I am on 60 milligrams of Baclofen a day due to a back surgery. I just started Celexor 1 week ago 20 milligrams, and I am not sleeping well. ## Hello, Rhonda! How are you? Actually, it is most likely just due to starting the Celexa. SSRI antidepressants are well known to cause sleep disturbances for about the first 4 to 5 weeks of taking them, while your body is getting used to the medication. Other side effects, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and weight gain. Is there anything else I can help with? ...

suboxone and azor 1mg
2 Replies RSS
Hi. I am 30 days clean from opiate withdrawal. I spent my 1st 3 weeks on methadone and zopiclone and now changed to suboxone and azor 1mg. I'm getting bad headaches in the mornings since starting the azor. Is azor a bad combination with suboxone? It's my 1st time taking azor 1mg, but I fell it really does help with sleeping and anxiety. It's also the 1st time after 5 years that I have now stopped opiates. Please advise as this all seems new to me?! ## Both of these medications could cause headaches as side effects, according to NIH reports, but hey could also be cause from stopping the Methadone, according to NIH reports. Other side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, and weight changes. How are you doing, now? Has there been an... ...

Been on Viibryd for a week
3 Replies RSS
At first I was a wreck, super high anxiety and depression and I cried several times a day. I think that might have been due to stopping my previous med Celexa though. I'm on day 8 of Viibryd and I really feel like it's starting to help. I take it at night when I plan on going to sleep soon because it gives me stomach upset, not really nausea either but a bad sharp burning pain above my navel. It's nothing that keeps me from sleeping but something I'd rather not deal with during the day hence the night time dose. Another con to my experience with Viibryd so far is I took my first 20 mg. dose last night and had a horrible night trying to sleep. It was hard for me to fall sleep because I had bad anxiety and mild panic attacks. Then once asleep I kept waking up. However desp... ...

Since then had a couple of angry dwelling days but have had seven great productive days in a row now and very hopeful for this medicine. History. I have been on Max Geodon and some wellbutrin for 3 years now and sleeping 12 hours a day. Usually pretty hopeless even though from outside i have great family life. Dangerous Switch from Prozac to Effexor but still on it
Post a Reply
I was on prozac for two years -- a gradual increase from 0 to 60mg. At first it worked and then it seemed to stop working (for depression). I started to become more depressed than I was before (loss of appetite, sleeping more, no motivation etc.) and my doctor decided to switch me from Prozac to Effexor saying that the transition would be fine. I went from taking 60mg of prozac one day to the next taking 225mg of Effexor. The result was not good. For the next couple days I had extremely blurred vision/ I couldn't go outside because the sun hurt my eyes. It was hard for me to go from lying down to standing up and four days after starting the 225mg I had a seizure in the shower. Despite this, my doctor insisted that this was because I wasn't eating/hydrating properly and sleeping too ...

Tricor / Fenofibrate is ruining my life! Severe neck, back, shoulder blade and arm pain!
22 Replies RSS
Two weeks after starting Tricor, I started developing muscle stiffness that within two more weeks was so severe, I was only sleeping a couple hours a night because the pain kept me up. I went to the Dr and she said keep taking the tricor -she prescribed muscle relaxers and an NSAID pain med. They said maybe it was bad posture, and caused by working at a computer. They also suggested physical therapy. Neither helped. Two days later I went to a Chiropractor, with no relief. The next week I was calling her office again, after waiting in pain a couple days, she prescribed another kind of muscle relaxer and NSAID for pain, and again said to go to physical therapy. The medicin did nothing at all, and again I was so severly in pain, I felt as if someone was trying to rip my arms from my should... ...

I took 3 pills accidental because I read the label wrong. I'm so worried to even go to sleep ugh. Can anything happen to me? Can I still take my sleeping pills, muscle relaxers and my pain pill wish is percocet 20mg... please help! I've never been so worried.:-( ## You'll be fine. 60 MG is still a starting dose. Perhaps be more careful next time? ;/ If it happened to me, I would still take my Percocet, sleeping pills, and muscle relaxers. ## No do NOT mix perocet with muscle relaxers and sleeping pills. It will interfere with your respiratory system. Remember what happened to Heath Ledger? First of all, 20mg of percocet is awfully high on its own. Don't compound the risk. ## And as to the other reply, 60mg IS NOT a starting dose for percocet. That is insane. They only ma... ...
