Can Urbanol be used as a sleeping tablet? ## Hello, Jade! How are you? Urbanol contains the active ingredient Clobazam, which is a benzodiazepine derivative and yes, they are sometimes used to treat sleep issues, since they can cause drowsiness and sedation as side effects. This medication may also be habit forming and could cause additional side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Learn more Clobazam details here. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Hi. I am currently using the Urbanol 10mg, and Lexamil 5mg. I have just started on both meds, and I am only drinking half of my lexamil. I still have trouble sleeping, and I have these terrible anxiety attacks when I wake up in the middle of the night and in the morning. My Dr prescribed me a sleeping pill ...

A friend gave me this small white, round sleeping pill with an X and two lines on the top and bottom of the X. I was told to put it under your tongue instead of swallowing it, and let it dissolve. What are these pills called and how intense are they for a sleep aid? ## sounds like a benzdiazepine, probably, Xanax. typically these are used for anxiety issues. The problem with these class of meds is they are highly addicting, and very rapidly absorbed into the blood stream. It is also known to cause impairment and confusion. They are only recommended for short-term use. ## It is sublingual ambirn

I want to know is there any sleeping pill named as relaxan (or something similar) ## something like Melatonin but targets sleeping better. Begins with R I think. ## Methedone withdrawal. I got banned from the MDC whilst on 45mls. I went to the doctor and she gave me Tramadol, Pregablin and oramoroph. I'm already on zopiclone, Valium and a few other meds. Can anyone please tell me how much Oramorph I should take for withdrawals. Dr said a teaspoon but my tolerance is way too high for that to have any effect. Thanks for any answers ## Sorry I wrote this in the wrong place but yeah zopiclone are probably best for sleeping if you can handle the taste! ## ihave been taking Rystyl 0.25 two tablets at bed time since last 25 years but now iam not getting sleep by above dose. kindly advice a...

I am 48 years old... I have a sleeping problem and depression... Doctor told me to take Alprazolam .25mg but I feel like I am not getting a very deep sleep. So if I take two or three .25mg, is it safe for me? Please advise. ## No it is not a sleeping pill and is not safe to take in amounts not prescribed by your doctor. The dose you are taking is relatively small but if you double or triple up, when you run out the rebound anxiety will be that much stronger and can even lead to withdrawal problems ## Asis, NO it is not a sleeping pill. I'd suggest finding a competent prescriber. By multiplying your dose you put yourself in jeopardy for increased insomnia and dependence of this very potent benzodiazepine. Granted your dosage is relatively low but these meds can create rebound anxiety...

Hi there, I was on tripelene for a couple of years then went off it trying to seek a natural way to help with my anxiety and to sleep. But the natural meds never helped then my Dr prescribed 10x xanor which helped then he gave me another 10 x xanor and when I asked for more he said I can not use it for a long period, so he prescribed urbanol, well I can't sleep. And it's been my third night now that I have taken it. Please help. ## Urbanol is listed as containing Clobazam, it is a benzodiazepine class medication. The U.S. FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, and mood changes. What dosage are you taking? It could be that you need a higher dosage in order to help you. ...

I am on Bystolic 10 mg and Benicar 40 mg. Is it better to take Bystolic in the morning or the Benicar. My bp is usually elevated when I wake up and seems that Bystolic was not controlling it in the morning so my MD suggested trying Benicar in am & Bystolic at night? ## For the best results, you should follow your doctor's instructions. However, it is normal for your blood pressure to elevate for awhile, when you first wake up. Its usually just due to it dropping while your sleeping, then you get a sudden spike, when you get up in the morning. That's generally not something to worry about, as long as the elevation is only temporary and it goes back down later. Many people see elevations every morning, if they check before they take their medications, too. When I first saw min...

Found pill in my daughters room and was told it was a sleeping aid a friend gave her since she has trouble sleeping on her ADHD meds. It's a very Small White Round Pill w the imprint A on one side and 75 on the other. I have no idea what this pill is nor can I find a description for it. I'm holding on to it until I found out what it is and if it should even be taken along w ADD meds which are stimulants. Plz help if anyone knows what this is. Thank you ## Well, the only A 75 tablet that I can find listed is not a sleep aid. It should be about the size of an Aspirin and contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 5mgs of Oxycodone, the active ingredients in Percocet, a narcotic pain reliever. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and constipation. Read more: Is ...

Talk to someone, please, the way you're thinking is not the answer. The tramadol with most likely cause you to seize and wind up a vegetable, I'm sure going you change your mind. ## Pray it will be ok, I just can't bear it after my husband passes, he's 82, terrible health, I just can't live without him, all I can do is see wha...

Dentist Gave Me Pain Meds And Antibiotics For A Toothache But It Still Hurts. What Can I Do To Help Ease The pain? The pain is extreme and keeps me from sleeping. ## Hello, Hex! How are you? What medications were you prescribed? How long have you been on the antibiotic? If it's working, you should start to feel an improvement after 3 days being on them, which will improve the pain. The antibiotic may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. ## Hydrocodon and clindamycin. It has been nearly early a week ## If you're still in severe pain, after more than 3 days on the antibiotic, then you most likely need a different one, so you should consult your dentist, again. If an antibiotic is working, you should see improvement after 3 full days o...

My mom is on anti depressants and sleeping pills ... I don't have all the names of them but was wondering if u could list a few of the most popular that cannot be taken with methadone ... ## Hello, Kolinna! How are you? No, I'm sorry, that would be very difficult to do. However, is she getting them all at the same pharmacy and/or from the same doctor? If so, then they have already most likely been checked against each other for any dangers. This is something that pharmacies do as a matter of course

I have diabetic neourapythy, and several other things that cause severe pain, i dont want them to think that i am a drug seeker, because i am not. I am in so much pain, that it is difficult to even have a life anymore, and sleeping is out of the question, i might if i am lucky to get an hour a day. What do i do, i feel like i will die soon from the pain and not sleeping. ## Hello, Renee! How are you feeling? I'm so sorry that you're suffering. Will someone answer this question for me? My doctor will not lower meds and i am not awake enough to take them as ordered. My doctor will drop me if his orders are not followed. ## If you are sleeping that much, then yes, there is a possibility that you are taking too many medications, but only you can really decide that. What type of doctor are you seeing? It really makes no sense for him to refuse to lower medications, if necessary. What is his reasoning for it? Most doctors are far too conservative the other way and are afraid of prescribing too much. ## For anyone else in this boat, the doctor is referring to the fact that when he gives you a u.a., you had better have the opiates he prescribed in your system or else he will think you are diverting your medications. Also this post so...

meds for calming; aids in sleeping ## It has been recommended that my son start using Trypolene for managing emotional thresholds. Before considering this option, I would like to know more about this drug, though I can not find information in the net about this drug. Does it have a different name? Could someone please point me in the right direction for research. ## This is a brand name for the medication Amitriptyline, which is an antidepressant, that is also used to treat insomnia, other mood disorders, and some forms of nerve pain. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, mood changes, and weight changes. Is there anything else I can help with?

sleeping pill ## i am using chlorazepam for one of my seizure meds. I am epileptic.I understand that this drug is only a sleeping pill. ## Is chlorazepam used as a sleeping pill or is it an epileptic medication to. i take it but believe it does nothing for me. ## There are two possible drugs that these posts may be referring to, the first is Clorazepate and the other is Clonazepam, both of which have very commonly misunderstood names. Both are considered 'classical' Benzodiazepines, which means they are closely related and mainly treat the same conditions. That said, yes they can both also treat seizure disorders, though they generally aren't the first choice to use for them. You can learn more Clorazepate details here and more Clonazepam details here.
