Is it ok to take 1 ALEAVE pm every night for muscle pain and help too sleep? ## Hello, Spice guy! How are you? I'm sorry you're in pain and having trouble sleeping. Over the counter nonsteroidal anti-inflammatories are really only intended for short-term occasional use, because there can be risks associated with their long-term use, such as liver damage or stomach damage. The best thing to do would be to use it for a short period of time, while waiting to see your doctor to get too the root of the problem and find a proper and safer solution. The FDA lists possible side effects as including nausea, dizziness, headache, drowsiness, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I found some tablets in the back of my son's sock draw and i really would like to know what it is and the harm it can cause? ## I think its a sleeping tablet, but am not sure. ## If it has PN25 it’s Phenergan/Promethazine, an antihistamine. If plain blue, it could be Valium. ## Patsy is correct, a tablet with the PN 25 marking is a 25mg Phenergan tablet which contains the active ingredient Promethazine, it is most commonly used to treat, or prevent nausea, and vomiting. The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, drowsiness, and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with? ## What is the typical dose of these blue tablets with pn 25 imprinted on them? Are they available over the counter?

Been on 75 mgs of Zoloft for 3 weeks, I was tired a lot before taking it but now I'm even more tired. My question is would maybe jumping up to 150 help this? I was told the tiredness was likely from depression (had all blood tests run to see if it was anything else. Thanks ## Hello, Gary! How are you feeling? Tiredness and drowsiness are among the possible side effects of Zoloft, as listed by the FDA. You may also experience dizziness, headache, dry mouth and weight changes. However, it should wear off and improve in severity, as your body gets used to the medication, so it may take 4 weeks, or so. Raising the dosage could actually just make it worse. I'm sorry about the problem you're having. It may be that the 75mgs is too high of a dose for you and you need to speak to your doctor about trying a lower one. Hi...my boyfriend has been prescribed coveram 5/5 since using it he's been getting headache everyday, feeling dizzy and sleepy. Should he keep taking it? He's performance at work has been affected by this. How long does the medication wears off after taking it? ## Hello, Maria! How are you and your boyfriend? How long has he been taking the medication? Those can be typical side effects of it, as listed by the FDA, he may also experience increased urination and hypotension. Typically, side effects are transient and will improve, then go away entirely, after about 4 to 5 weeks, once his body gets used to the medication. However, if they do not go away, or if they worsen, he should consult his doctor as he may need to try a different medication.

Hi there, My husband who suffers from depression and sleeping problems has been taking Ivedal for years now and he does not just take one but two or three per night, which is really too much of course. For the past few months, he is very tearful, cries in the morning a lot without any particular reason. I was wondering if Ivedal could be the cause of this tearfulness. The reason I am asking is that I used to take Ivedal myself for a couple of months and I remember being depressed and tearful as well. So I stopped it and things went thankfully back to normal. I know my husband is going through a depression and so, it makes him sad, but this tearfulness is weird. I haven't found this as a list of side-effects of Ivedal but I thought I'd ask anyway. Thanks for your feedback. ## Hi ...
