joint pain eliquis

I am 67 and have afib. I am put on eliquis, but ever since I have been on eliquis I am having very bad lower back, hip, shoulder, ankle etc. pain!! I will be having an ablation in the very near future. When my heart returns to normal I will stop eliquis. I will be taking Tattokinase. It is a natural enzyme that gets the job done without the side effects. Please reserch about the benefits of nattokinase on the internet and get educated about it; it would take me too long to explain things about it here. And tell your doctor about it, demand that he would look into getting informed about it instead of pushing dangerous pharmaceuticals on you!! Nattokinase is a very effective blood thinner, it is natural with NO side effects. Since no body makes big money from it, it is discouraged by big ... ...

Muscle or joint pain

I have been using fenofibrate for about 4 months. About that same time I started having sharp pain in my left hip area. I thought it might be a hip problem but it seems to be more like a muscle in the top of my buttocks to my very lower back. At times it seems to be more pronounced in the front side like my upper groin area. Sometime the pain lessens some if I am doing more physical activities during the day like mowing the lawn and working around the garden. I have also just in the last couple of days been having severe soreness in my right shoulder deltoid area. I just saw that the fenofibrate can cause some muscle aches. I stopped taking it a few days ago (my Dr.told me to anyway when the last prescription ran out) My question is if these are side effects from the fenofibrate how lon... ...

joint pain with xarelto

After a single AFib event, I was put on Eliquis. I almost immediately developed severe shoulder pain in both shoulders, so doctor changed to Xarelto. Same problem. I am not currently taking a blood thinner, only a daily aspirin, because of the side effects. One shoulder returned to normal, but the other one continues to hurt. Had never had any problem with shoulder pain before taking these medications. ## Is Aspirin the only medication you are currently taking? The FDA warns that it may cause side effects, such as nausea, increased risk of bleeding, stomach irritation, and headache. ## Yes, the only blood thinner. Take a baby aspirin. ...

Lisinopril and Joint/Tendon Pain!!!

I started taking 5mg of Lisinopril about 2 years ago. Within a month or less I started having unexplained shoulder pain. Then they raised my dosage to 10mg per day. My joint and tendon pain keeps spreading. It's worst in my knees, but it moves around. I get it in my hands, elbows, hips, ankles, feet and even my neck. It feels like mostly tendon pain and tightness. It's like tendonitis without the swelling, redness and pain to touch. I'm gonna go off the Lisinopril tomorrow to see if it helps. If so I'm curious if anyone has had these issues with Lisinopril and how long they lasted once they were off the medication. ## That can be a side effect of this medication, as reported by the FDA. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, and increased urination. However... ...

No sure what pain meds I should be taking.

I was in a rear end car accident which left me with horrific pain on the left side of my neck and down into my shoulder and arm. I've had numerous tests, but nothing comes up as wrong. My pain doctor, who is also an anesthesiologist, believes the problem has to do with nerve damage in my facet joints which does not show on tests. It can only be diagnosed post mortem. The pain is horrible and growing. I'm in the process of going through nerve block testing and if that is successful he will destroy those nerves. Meanwhile, I've been on various pain meds. I was just taken off 40mgs of Oxycodone per day and put on Oxycontin 15mgs 3 times per day. It seems to be less effective than the Oxycodone. I was taken off the Oxycodone because it wasn't working as well after taking it ... ...

Forteo - painful side effects returning 2 years later

I am a 65 year old female and started taking Forteo at age 63 due to a low bone density and family history of osteoporosis. I had very painful side effects in most of my joints and muscles. I stopped taking it after 3 months and the pain went away after several more months. Two years down the road, and not on any medications, the same pains have returned and have persisted for the last 5 months. The pain is especially bad once I lay down at night. Today I cannot lift my arm over my shoulder, my thumb is so painful I can not write a grocery list and, after hiking 5,000 foot mountains just 6 months ago, I need assistance to get in or out of bed. I have tested negative for bone cancer and Lyme disease. Rheumatoid arthritis has been ruled out but without conclusive testing. Has anyone had t... ...

New to Western Oklahoma, pain management is nonexistent

Moved from Idaho to Western Oklahoma a few months ago. My pain management Dr in Idaho gave me 2 months of prescriptions to get me through until I find a new Dr. Things haven't gone as expected, shortly after getting here I was admitted into the hospital because of a post op infection on the deep brain stimulator I had implanted for essential tremor. The device was removed, 2 brain surgeries in 8 months, I've obviously been a little off. I have no medical insurance, ran out of pain medication that I have been on for 6 years for chronic pain, scoliosis, arthritis of the spine, protruding disk in my low back, disk degeneration of the neck, chronic tendinitis in my shoulder due to an abnormaly formed shoulder joint, chronic bursitis of the hip. I finally got approved by a pain Dr but a ...
