I am 67 and have afib. I am put on eliquis, but ever since I have been on eliquis I am having very bad lower back, hip, shoulder, ankle etc. pain!! I will be having an ablation in the very near future. When my heart returns to normal I will stop eliquis. I will be taking Tattokinase. It is a natural enzyme that gets the job done without the side effects. Please reserch about the benefits of nattokinase on the internet and get educated about it; it would take me too long to explain things about it here. And tell your doctor about it, demand that he would look into getting informed about it instead of pushing dangerous pharmaceuticals on you!! Nattokinase is a very effective blood thinner, it is natural with NO side effects. Since no body makes big money from it, it is discouraged by big ...

I have been using fenofibrate for about 4 months. About that same time I started having sharp pain in my left hip area. I thought it might be a hip problem but it seems to be more like a muscle in the top of my buttocks to my very lower back. At times it seems to be more pronounced in the front side like my upper groin area. Sometime the pain lessens some if I am doing more physical activities during the day like mowing the lawn and working around the garden. I have also just in the last couple of days been having severe soreness in my right shoulder deltoid area. I just saw that the fenofibrate can cause some muscle aches. I stopped taking it a few days ago (my Dr.told me to anyway when the last prescription ran out) My question is if these are side effects from the fenofibrate how lon...

After a single AFib event, I was put on Eliquis. I almost immediately developed severe shoulder pain in both shoulders, so doctor changed to Xarelto. Same problem. I am not currently taking a blood thinner, only a daily aspirin, because of the side effects. One shoulder returned to normal, but the other one continues to hurt. Had never had any problem with shoulder pain before taking these medications. ## Is Aspirin the only medication you are currently taking? The FDA warns that it may cause side effects, such as nausea, increased risk of bleeding, stomach irritation, and headache. ## Yes, the only blood thinner. Take a baby aspirin.

I am a 66 year old male. I have been taking Jardiance 10mg for 5 months. I have developed joint pain in multiple joints from jaw to shoulder to elbow to knee that I never had prior. Could this be a side effect of the Jardiance? ## Hello, Keith! How are you? I'm sorry about the discomfort you're experiencing. Yes, the FDA does list that as being a known possible side effect of Jardiance, along with nausea, headache, hypotension, and increased urination. Ref: Jardiance Information Have you consulted your doctor? You may need to try a different medication, or try something to alleviate the joint pain. Are you on any other medications?

I started taking 5mg of Lisinopril about 2 years ago. Within a month or less I started having unexplained shoulder pain. Then they raised my dosage to 10mg per day. My joint and tendon pain keeps spreading. It's worst in my knees, but it moves around. I get it in my hands, elbows, hips, ankles, feet and even my neck. It feels like mostly tendon pain and tightness. It's like tendonitis without the swelling, redness and pain to touch. I'm gonna go off the Lisinopril tomorrow to see if it helps. If so I'm curious if anyone has had these issues with Lisinopril and how long they lasted once they were off the medication. ## That can be a side effect of this medication, as reported by the FDA. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, and increased urination. However...

After taking Eliquis for 3years , I began experiencing extreme joint pain in shoulder and fingers. Early morning dizziness are also beginning. I have had cryo - balloon ablation and am waiting until next month to be taken off this drug. My af- fib is gone and I will go on aspirin only. ## Hello, Benchin! How are you? I'm sorry about the problems you've experienced. Many people have reported such side effects, when taking this medication and the FDA does list them as being common. You may also experience headache, increased risk of bleeding and easy bruising. How much longer will you be taking it?

Its typical side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and stomach irritation. Long term use can increase your risk of liver damage, or failure, and stomach ulceration, according to the FDA, so you should only take it as long as ...

I started taking 20 mgs of rivaroxoban following a second episode of multiple pulmonary embolism ( Sepember 2015)I now expect this to be lifetime medication . However 3 months after starting on the dose I am suffering with severe left side shoulder and groin\hip pains and Imobility. I've been on cosentyx for a few months now for psoriatic arthritis and it worked great. However, for the last month I've been having the worse pain. I ache everywhere. I've never had pain like this. I wake up with my fingers and toes swollen and I have so much joint pain in my arms and shoulders I can't even brush my hair. I even took two shots of cosentyx last month and not a smidgen of relief. What gives? ## Unfortunately, it has been known to cause such side effects in some people that have used it, along with oral thrush, diarrhea, dizziness, and cough. Have you consulted your doctor? These could be symptoms of a possible severe reaction, and you should no longer use it, you may need to try something else. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Does anyone have s...

I have severe muscle pain and joint pain in elbows, legs, shoulders, lower back . Been taking it for about a year. Feels like same symptoms I once had when I found out I was allergic to statins. But it was so long ago I don't remember how long before pain stopped. ## Hello, Turridu! How are you? If you were on it for about a year, it might take several weeks for these side effects to taper off and go away. If they continue after about a month of being off of it, then you should consult your doctor as there may be something else going on. Other side effects to this medication may include nausea, dizziness and headache. How are you feeling, now? ## Still sore but not half as bad, I have been drinking lots of water and eating fruits and veggies trying to purge the meds from my system don...

I was in a rear end car accident which left me with horrific pain on the left side of my neck and down into my shoulder and arm. I've had numerous tests, but nothing comes up as wrong. My pain doctor, who is also an anesthesiologist, believes the problem has to do with nerve damage in my facet joints which does not show on tests. It can only be diagnosed post mortem. The pain is horrible and growing. I'm in the process of going through nerve block testing and if that is successful he will destroy those nerves. Meanwhile, I've been on various pain meds. I was just taken off 40mgs of Oxycodone per day and put on Oxycontin 15mgs 3 times per day. It seems to be less effective than the Oxycodone. I was taken off the Oxycodone because it wasn't working as well after taking it ...

I am a 65 year old female and started taking Forteo at age 63 due to a low bone density and family history of osteoporosis. I had very painful side effects in most of my joints and muscles. I stopped taking it after 3 months and the pain went away after several more months. Two years down the road, and not on any medications, the same pains have returned and have persisted for the last 5 months. The pain is especially bad once I lay down at night. Today I cannot lift my arm over my shoulder, my thumb is so painful I can not write a grocery list and, after hiking 5,000 foot mountains just 6 months ago, I need assistance to get in or out of bed. Moved from Idaho to Western Oklahoma a few months ago. My pain management Dr in Idaho gave me 2 months of prescriptions to get me through until I find a new Dr. Things haven't gone as expected, shortly after getting here I was admitted into the hospital because of a post op infection on the deep brain stimulator I had implanted for essential tremor. The device was removed, 2 brain surgeries in 8 months, I've obviously been a little off. I have no medical insurance, ran out of pain medication that I have been on for 6 years for chronic pain, scoliosis, arthritis of the spine, protruding disk in my low back, disk degeneration of the neck, chronic tendinitis in my shoulder due to an abnormaly formed shoulder joint, chronic bursitis of the hip. Hi, i been having this pain in my arm and joint in my shoulder, and im gone for a kiropractor and they used shock wave but that doesn't work. is it possible if i will try Decilone forte 4 mg ? ## Hello, Rebecca! How are you? This medication is a steroid, so it shouldn't be taken, unless your doctor says that it is safe for you to take it. It will not alleviate pain, it just helps with any possible swelling that may be present and it risks some serious side effects, such as facial bloating, fluid retention and hypertension. Is there anything else I can help with?

i am 50. and suffering from joints pain of all parts of body,,severe pain in legs joints, shoulders,,weakeness,,pristate problems.thyroid problems,,and my dr. has given me NURODAY and other tonics....but i have read somewhere that only 2 to 5% mecobalamin absorbs in body....awhat is the fact ?...how much it absorbs and how much it works in body compares to its price ## This is a form of vitamin B12 and your body can absorb more, because it is actually known that too much of it can also be dangerous. As to comparing that to the price, I can't help you with that, because this is not available in the U.S. and I have no information on the pricing. Have you tried discussing these issues with your doctor or pharmacist?
