my bp was around 140/90, age is 34, doctor has advised seloken 50xl, i have been taking this since past 1year and every month i check through the same dr, bp is around 130/86 to 126/80... what are the chances that i can stop taking this medicine. ## Is this tab available in US ? ## Ihave done ANGIOPLASTY IN april 2010.Before that my b.p. was 130/80 and i was takin g AMTUS AT atenulol and amlodipine 50/5 in the morning and Stamlo 2;5 in the evening.along other heart related medicines MY B.P. Seloken xl 50 mg vs Telma 40

What is the difference between seloken xl 50 and Telma 40? Can either one be substituted by the other? ## They both contain different active ingredients, though they are used to treat the same medication conditions. I undergone openheart By pass surgery recently. Doctor priscirbed Tab TAB TAB SELOKEN XL25 MG TILL FURTHER ORDER which will be taken in the MORNING after food. I have been diagonised with systematic hypertension 7 months ago. My bp is uncontrolled .Has gone up to 190/120 .Changed many medications. Currently on olmezest 20 LN bloc 10 natrilux SR 1.5 . I have been advised by my family physician to take one tablet of CTD 6.25 after breakfst and one tablet of seloken xl 50 after lunch instead of selomax 50/5, since selomax 50/5 is retaining water in the body and causes swellimg in the feet and calf muscle. I amtaking seloken xl 50 one tablet in the morning and in the evening for palpatations which suddenly occur without any cause. Can I replace it with calaptin 120 sr. I had been using calaptin for a long time. But dr advised thatseloken xl is better.I do not believe this. Give me your opinion. ## You should take the medication that the doctor has instructed you would be best for you. Undergone angioplasty (2 stents) implanted in 7/2010. Taking seloken xl 50 mg, amlodipine 5 mg, telma h, eltroxin 37, deplate 75 mg, ecosprine stopped this month, (having gas problem continuously, consulted GE also), pan D, Silofast 8 mg. I suffered from cervical & lumber spodolisis for 20 years. Acute sitica right leg 1998. 3 times traction management of neck & lumber. L4 L5 10mm. L5 SL 8 mm as per MRI in 2009. Now acute back pain. Unable to walk more than 4 to 5 minutes at a stretch. Pregabalin 75, nexito plus. evion 400, shelcal ct have been prescribed. I want to stop both pregabalin & nexito. Any advice?
