hydrocodone longterm
I have been taking hydrocodone for about three years. Up until recently I have not exceeded the recomended dose of 8 tablets in a 24 hr period. I have been taking 12-14 tablets 2-3 days in a row then back to 8. I function better on this medication but wonder what damage the long term use could cause. I am searching for that balance of pain management/depression and healthy body. ## Hello, Lea! How are you? Any time you take more than 9 tablets in a day, you are taking a dangerous amount of Acetaminophen, which has the potential to be fatally toxic. At this point, you may have already damaged your liver, so you need to inform your doctor, so they can run a liver panel to check things out. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects... ...

Side Effects of Taking Dexilant Long Term?
Does Dexilant keep my body from getting nutrients? Wondering if I need to supplement with something more than Magnesium. Also wondering what studies say about taking it for years? I have a hiatal hernia, so there is no relief in sight for me. ## Hello, Sharon! How are you? I've not seen any reports on that, so far, however I'll do some more searching and post back if I do find anything. As to long-term use, yes, it does increase the risk of hip fractures. It seems that long-term use of all medications that the FDA classifies as proton pump inhibitors can do that. They may also cause side effects, such as nausea, flatulence and stomach pain. How long have you been taking it? Usually, these are only used for a maximum of 16 weeks, before taking a break from them. ## I have been on... ...

Brintellix/Trintellix Long term side effects
I have struggled with depression for most of my life, and am always in search of the perfect antidepressant. I work with a psych doctor who is always willing to try new things. 10 months ago I started 5 mg of Brintellix daily, within a week my mood was significantly elevated, I was sleeping better, waking up much earlier and was more motivated to do things in the morning. I went up to 10mg daily However the nausea was dreadful! I pushed through for a couple of weeks, changed to taking the brintellix at night and after a while it subsided. My mood got better and better, I had recently turned 50, and had gained a little weight, so with my new found morning energy I started working out 2times a week with a trainer, and then walking most other mornings! The walking then changed gradually to... ...

Just started Vyanse and have questions
I'm so happy I found an active forum. Been googling all kinds of search terms because I am new to this medication and would love feedback and advise. I'm 52 and started on 30mg. I told my doctor I didn't feel much after only two days of that fun high. After only one week he upped me to 60mg. I am bipolar and take meds for that, depression, anxiety and under active thyroid. I'm thinking this dose is too strong. I'm feeling anxious and agitated after only 4 hours. Now it's been a total of 8 1/2 hours and still anxious but also really tired and zoned out. Any thoughts? Do I keep going hoping this side effect will go away? If I do how many days does it take? Or should I go back to 30 until I see my doctor in 3 days? Oh I'm also taking 500mg twice daily for weight lo ...

And I looked it up and there it was.. So aleria is no where to be found, and I kinda wish it would be since they said it doesn't constipate you. lol ## The m99 im talking about is the strongest narcotic out there. Why my doctor giving me ib throat hoaseing? ## @kishore, I've never actually heard of the term "throat hoaseing", and oddly enough I'm not finding anything on search engines relating to it either; nor anything about a "fine heal tablet". Did your doctor not explain to you what that might entail upon notifying you of the procedure? Under normal circumstances most information on medications or procedures can be found with a simple google search, however neither of the things you mentioned are showing any results when I go to look them up. Personally, I wouldn't go through with it until I was able to sit down with my doctor and go over everything in detail about why he/she is recommending it be done in the first place. ketohan Russian medical cream
I bought this cream in Russia what is it? ## Hi Max, Unfortunately I haven't come across any specific details on "Ketohan". However, rumor has it that the English term for this cream actually goes by "Ketonal" instead and perhaps that's why information wasn't turning up in search results: Discuss/Ketohan-245054.htm Apparently the letters just happen to look like "Ketohan" in Russian writing, but this is only based on one other person's opinion in the thread linked above. At any rate, Ketoprofen is reportedly the active ingredient (or generic name rather) for this product called Ketonal. Ketoprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug used for treating pain and inflammation. Does this sound like a possible match? ...
