This is a very helpful website. I take Metformin extended release for uncontrolled blood sugar and this past week the sugars have been between 200 and 300 irregardless. Today I noticed a different coding 900/25 and called the pharmacy but there were unable to identify the pill over the phone and said to bring it in. I held onto Duratuss VIC because it was pulled from the market and the only thing controlled my frequent sinusitis. The pills are similar in shape/size and with the pharmacy frequently changing the brands it complicate the matter. The pharmacy recommended in its place Mucinex and the company recommended Mucinex D but that contains 60mg. of pseudoephedrine but I managed with only 1/2 tab of Duratuss (900/25) which would be 450/12.5mg) In past had problems with decongestants s...

Found these brown and yellow capsles. They have no markings on the capsles but are packaged indiv. with the above lot number and expir. date on the outside of the package. Thank you for any help. ## I'm afraid I cannot help you with just the lot #. That can be an internal thing used to track certain manufacture runs of the product, so the same # could be used for more than one company for more than one product. If there are no markings on the capsules, it will be virtually impossible to positively identify them, unless you would pay to have them lab tested. These could be any one of a number of over the counter items or foreign medications. Where were they found?

I've been taking one gabapentin 300 mg three times per day starting six days ago for severe spinal stenosis. It's been a miracle drug for me in terms of pain relief and makes oxycodone seem like a placebo. Unfortunately, starting two days ago I started to experience pronounced swelling in my legs and feet. I'm already taking 25 mg of hydrochlorothiazide for high blood pressure and I thought that would prevent any swelling but it hasn't. If I can deal with the swelling and being uncomfortable from it do I still have to go off the gabapentin? Are there any medical reasons I can't accept the swelling in order to have the benefits of the gabapentin? After the first two days on gabapentin I went from 10 mg of oxycodone every 4 hours to 5 mg twice a day, sometimes just onc...
