Normally my subutex I thought was really tiny, round white. This time it's a larger tablet white round with RP on one side b 8 on other. I looked at an old bottle it said ROX after sub Today's says RHO after sub. Both saying Buprenorphine. Is this Subutex like I'm suppose to be getting? I use to get the strips which I much prefer because they're easier to cut up and take smaller mgs if I choose. But I have no insurance and the price difference is outrages. Thank you ## Hello char, The pill you are describing matches a buprenorphine 8mg pill according to the NIH. Both of these pills contain the same active ingredient but come from different manufacturers and so the inactive ingredients are going to be different. If you have not noticed any changes in the way that the pill...

I had been taking suboxone for over 4 years but was recently switched to the buprenorphine without the naloxone because of my severe renal impairment. This also causes me a lot of nausea and vomiting, so the switch actually helped me a lot, but still these pills I get at my pharmacy are so big I have issues getting them down properly. I know they discontinued the really tiny ones, but does anyone know of a manufacturer who is currently making a smaller version? I'm currently taking the RP/b8 ones. I'm supposed to get my refill in a few days and I'd really like to switch, so any thoughts or info on this would be helpful, thank you! ## You're supposed to take them sublingual not swallow (suck them under tongue till they dissolve) hold in your mouth for about 10 minutes. Do...

I have made the switch from the 8mg films to 8mg buprenorphine tablets only. With all the research I've done and experience I do my best to stay away from actavis mylan and nowadays sandoz. I noticed everyone has enjoyed the Roxanne now westward generics amongst hi-tech coming in second/mylan. I have no experience with mylan bup and don't want to take the risk even as mylan has always been a waste imo. I'm not a fan of allergan (actavis) taking over watson so depending on the drug dispenses I most stay away. There are as of now 7 manufacturers of generic buprenorphine hcl 8mg (generic subutex). They are in order of my preferred with not much experience except with brand name: *roxanne (now westward pharma)- 54 411 *hi tech- 8 ^(arrow) *mylan- M924 *teva (allergen/activas own...

I’ve been taking 8mg subutex (54s) for about a year. Today I took half a pill didn’t think much of it as it felt the same but then noticed they were RP b8. Does anyone have any info on the difference? Since I’ve noticed I’m all worried if they are weaker, stronger, the same? If anyone has any answers I’d greatly appreciate it! Thanks ## Hello Miss, According to the NIH both pills are buprenorphine 8mg tablets so it should be the same strength. The reason the imprint is different is the pills are from different generics/brands. There are multiple different generics that have both imprints and if you would like me to give you more information on the differences between the two I would need to know the generic/brand of each. From there I can give you a more in...
