I changed pharmacies and now my Percocet's look different. I was getting a oval white pill with the A333 imprint and now I got a white round pill with 10 325 RP. I don't know what the differences are but I would like to know before I take them. ## It's just a different manufacturer. The ones you are getting now (RP 10/325) are better in my opinion. They are pressed hard (just like the old roxicets) and last longer. Let us know what you think! ## This tablet contains 10mgs Oxycodone, 325mgs Acetaminophen (NDC 42858-0104). Inactive Ingredients: - silicon dioxide - magnesium stearate - povidone k30 - crospovidone - corn starch - stearic acid - water Ref: DailyMed Is there anything else I can help with?

Was getting these in A larger yellow tablet and was suprised to open my bottle this month and find this smaller different looking white pill. Now I wonder if it is as good as the yellow I have been taking ?? Or have I been switched to a less effective generic by my pharmacist bcuz he samed money on a batch of something that is not going to work as well for me ## Hello, Larry! How are you? These tablets are listed as containing 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 10mgs of Oxycodone, the active ingredients in Percocet or Roxicet. Which generic your pharmacy carries may change, at any given time, depending on which manufacturer was offering the cheapest price, at the time they needed to restock their supply. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause si...

Hello. I was just given a refill of 5-325 Oxycodone/Acetaminophen (Percocet). These pills are much smaller than the large white pills I normally take (8 yrs). These new pills have RP on one side. So far I have taken 2 and they don't feel as strong as what I'm used to. Can anyone comment if in fact this is a good generic or should I avoid getting them in the future? ## Hi Tom, I can't say for sure whether or not their quality/potency is comparable to other manufacturers, but if they aren't as strong as what you're used to taking, one theory I had is that the manufacturer (Rhodes Pharmaceuticals) may be using a different set of binders and fillers (inert ingredients) than their counterparts from other manufacturers. According to numerous patient reviews I'm seeing ...

Is the RP 10 325 pill comprised of layers on the RP side that start to peel off? The other side is fine and not peeling. ## Have you tried contacting the manufacturer (Rhodes Pharmaceuticals) about this? Just for verification, the imprint implies that it's a generic Oxycodone (10mg) + Acetaminophen (325mg) tablet, with a National Drug Code of 42858-104. Unfortauntely, my findings only go so far as mentioning the list of inactive ingredients: Silicon Dioxide Magnesium Stearate Povidone K30 Crospovidone Corn Starch Stearic Acid Water However you can also view a photograph of it at: rhodespharma.com/products Judging from the image therein I'd speculate that it has some sort of coating with a mild glossy or matte finish.

White round with RP 10 325 imprinted on it - Is this a percocet? ## @Ricky, I've seen a white round pill with R P 30 listed as Oxycodone 30mgs. However the "10/325" (if it is confirmed to be part of the imprint on your pill) would generally signify the presence of Acetaminophen along with 10mgs of either Hydrocodone or Oxycodone; but this remains to be verified. Now the RP imprint I know stands for "Rhodes Pharmaceuticals", so one thing you could do is contact them directly for more specific details on the tablet description/identity. Their main phone number is listed as (401) 262-9200; or you can also try reaching customer service at 888-827-0616. I hope this helps! ## I have round white pill with RP 10 on it. Is this the same thing? ## Yes it is oxycodone 10/325. N...

I I have always used the white oblong 10 perc and now I'm taking the 10 but it's a round pill and it is not as strong, I feel as if I'm taking tylenol3. I have tried the 10 and 7.5 and for 3 months I have kept a headache, nausea, and itching. on both strengths. with all these rules I am stuck with 90 and because of the headaches I'm using more. due to no change in pain I use it because I have sjorgens and sle lupus and a migraine on top of that I do not need. I'm scared to try another pharmacy, don't wanna look like a drug seeker , I'm just looking for pain relief, compared to the brand I was on, it was the company that bought watson. what do I do ? am I having side effects do to the new generic ? If I find out that the supposed oxycodone I am taking is anything other than what it should be, I will be contacting a money hungry attorney for I shall be extremely wealthy. ## I have the same issue with RP 10/325 - I went into withdrawals and took the Med back to Walmart pharmacy and the pharmacist said he's "had no other complaints and couldn't do anything for me". I now have Activas A 333 and they are taking awhile to kick in and I am just praying these awful feelings go away. Please let me know if you found out anything. ## Have either of you considered getting the tablet's contents analyzed by a lab in order to determine how much oxycodone/acetaminophen is really in there v.s. what they put on the label? Part of me wonders if these drug companies might be skimp...

Horrible experience with RP 10/325 generic for Percocet 10/325 prescribed by my Pain Mgt Dr. I got the prescription filled at Walmart a month ago. Since that time, I have been in withdrawals, with aching muscles, mostly in my shoulders and wrists, the pain I felt before going on any pain pills over 25 years ago, also the chills and sweating, just as if I were in complete withdrawal. I took the bottle to the pharmacy and told the pharmacist what was happening and he told me he has had no other complaints and couldn't do anything for me...okay, so my husband is now picking up my new monthly prescription at Walgreens, and the manufacturer is Actavis, which I believe is the old Watson and I am praying they will take away the withdrawal feelings. Has anyone else had this issue with the R...

This is manufactured by Rhodes Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 7.5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, which is a generic for Percocet. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Are all generic percocet the same exact formula? The 4839V works fine for me but I just took 1 pill marked RP on one side and 5 325 on the other and felt really sick - numbness in feet, shallow breathing, chest pain. I've been taking percocet for breakthrough pain for years and never had this happen. ## My mother just received a new bottle of percocet 5 325 with R P on the other side. It does not seem to be working like OTHER brands she has received in the past??? I took one, which should have knocked me out due to my low tolerance. It did NOTHING! ## Under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, generics are allowed to differ from the name brands, in the amount of the active ingredients, by as much as plus or minus 20%, the FDA considers this to be an acceptable therapeutic window and it was...

I just got my script filled in SC. Wal Mart. They have their own distribution system. Check there. I have a large amount of pills and pain. They told me they had the entire script. 360 pills. Good luck y'all from South Carolina. ## Thanks for the heads up Jimmy, I'm not sure if anyone else has been having problems getting their script filled lately (at least here in California), but according to the FDA there aren't any current drug shortages involving Percocet. This can be verified on the following page: fda.gov/drugs/drugsafety/drugshortages/ucm050792.htm Just out of curiosity, where did you first hear about there being a shortage? ## Anyone here know what pharmacy in Columbia, SC has the best generic Percocet 7.5/325? At age 50, had to take pain meds for the 1st time in my life ourside of hospital surgical.procedures. Been on Percocet 10/325 for almost 2 yrs now, with NO increase in quantity prescribed. In fact, I TRY to NOT take unless really needed. This month I had my Rx filled at a pharmacy newly added to my insurance plan as is closer to my home. BIG MISTAKE! They filled my Rd with these RP 10 325 tablets. I hadn't taken a pill in 15 hrs when sent hubby to pharmacy. He brought these home & altho I'd not seen this particular generic, thought nothing of it. I've had at least 3 or 4 diff generics throughout the almost 2yrs, and altho I best like the yellow larger round pills (? I dunno name brand), they ALL do basically the same thing? Not these! I took my 1st pill in 17hrs and went...

Are the 325 10 rp better than the a3333? ## I live in south Florida & these are the common 10mg Percocets I've come across. The RP's are not effective at all, and are weak. the A333's are DESCENT for pain relief, and personally are OK. I find the yellow circles with C230 are best besides the pink roxies or endocets. ## Yes the ingredients didn't make me sick, but I got zero relief w a 333, I'd give the rp a 6 /10, the Alvogen are 8/10, ... but I was in s. Fl I haven't seen the rp s sincemid 2016 ## According to the FDA, the inactive ingredients in these RP 10 325 pills by Rhodes are as follows: pregelatinized corn starch crospovidone povidone magnesium stearate colloidal silicon dioxide stearic acid Something else to keep in mind upon comparison with other ta...

All the 10 mg Percocets work the same unless they are fake. U shouldn't be messing with pills if u don't know what you're talking about!! If u got an rx from a real dr then u got nothing to worry about. I've had every single 10mg there is and they all work the same so stop crying! ## Unfortunately, this is not true. According to the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, generics are allowed to differ from the name brand by as much as plus or minus 20% of the active ingredient(s). The FDA considers this to be an acceptable therapeutic window and it was put in place to help bring generics to market faster, to create competition and try to keep prices lower. I found a pill in my sons drawer and it has the imprint code 555 then a line under it and then 293 on the same side. It is a light yellow round pill. Is that percocet ## Well if the pill has BARR on the one side and then 555 over 293 on the other side then it could be an Oxycodone ## YES, this is a narcotic containing Oxycodone! The exact active ingredients are Oxycodone HCL 4.5mgs, Oxycodone Teraphthalate 0.38mgs and Aspirin 325mgs. This is a generic for Percodan.
