I can't figure out what this is. It looks speckled, maybe pink with red specks. Scored on one side, slightly rounded top and bottom, as opposed to flat. I cut it in half and put the crumbs on my tongue to taste it, no discernible flavor. Thought about crushing it for a larger flavor sampling. Not sure. That only gets you so far, anyway. It's probably nothing good, just a vitamin, right? My mom found it on the floor one day and asked me to look it up. Not sure what these are, just looking for answers. It's a tiny red pill but a perfect circle and straight edges like the smarties candy but smaller. They are solid red but soft and the pills stick together. I was told they're for old people. ## In the U.S. prescription medications, such as Morphine, are all required to have unique markings to enable their identification, in case of emergency. Thus, these are most likely something that is available over the count. The FDA warns that Morphine carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Are they similar to a gel cap?

I have a package wrapped in the correct looking packaging. The name on the package is Clonazepam Tablets I.P. Repam-2 made in India, by JPee drugs. They are pencil sized round pills. Dark red. It is kinda of reddish white, no markings and I found several in my sons coat pocket... ## Hello, Kd! How are you? If they have no markings, we can rule them out as being a U.S. prescription medication, because they are all required to have unique markings to enable their identification, however, it could be any one of a large number of over the counter products. Where was it found? Some over the counter products are regional, so knowing the general location may help narrow it down. I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. For many years, I have taken 25 mg of amitryptyline, a small green pill. For my last refill, I received a brown pill with the marking I 2. I am an Rn and I know that errors are sometimes made so I have tried to find a way to identify if he has received the correct med. Checking to see if white pill, marked M and then 3 below the cut line, is in fact metoprolo er tab suc 100mg. First time I've seen these. They are larger than the last generics I got. I'd feel better if the 3 were a 1..... CVS - caremark sent these. The local CVS had no idea what they were. ## My last prescription for Metoprolo er tab suc 50mg was a white round with m50. The pill has no imprint at all, is a dark red color (almost maroon), and is 1cm wide. I have found a couple on the floor of my closet and have no idea what they are or where they came from. ## I have the same question. it has no letters or markings on it at all It looks a little like a mulitvitamin tablet, but doesn't have the same smell or taste ## This is a simple multivitamin. I think its just a generic brand you can get pretty much anywhere, but it is just a multivitamin. ## I agree that it could be a multivitamin, however, there is also the possibility that it could be some other type of supplement. For instance, iron tablets are also made that look like this and if it is, it could be very dangerous for some people to think it is just a multi-vitamin, as for some people, too much iron can be just as dangerous as too little is for others.

its a big red pill with letters or numbers on it. its about 2.5 cm long. it gets bigger at the top. Also at the top before it gets round, theres a darker red line and tiny holes punched under the line going in a circle. ## If there are no markings on it, it is going to be difficult to determine exactly what this contains. We can rule it out as being a U.S. prescription medication, since they are all required, by law, to have markings to enable their identification, however, it could be any one of a large number of over the counter products. Red brown small round no marking no coating ## HI, Lisa! With no markings, it's a bit difficult to determine what the tablet contains. We can rule it out as being a U.S. manufactured and approved prescription medication, because they are all required to have markings to enable their identification. The only exception for a very tiny pill might be for one that was from a package of oral contraceptives, since they are usually packaged in blister cards and aren't always required to have imprints on each tablet. How small is it? Otherwise, if it's not that small, then it's most likely an over the counter medication of some type.

Can't identify small, tiny round white pill scored one side, blank flip side scoring is L 72. What else an I tell you. That's all I know. I found a Burke if red pills they are round with no markings in either side was winding what they were ## Are they coated pills? If the red is due to a coating and there are no markings, then I'm inclined to suspect that they are over the counter 200mg Ibuprofen tablets, since there are several available that match this description. The FDA lists it as being an NSAID that is most commonly used to treat pain, fever and swelling. The closest match I can find is Choledyl (100 mg); which is used in the treatment of asthma, maintenance and belongs to the drug class methylxanthines. It is a round red pill with the imprint PD 210. Maybe the other markings got rubbed off at some point?
