I found a pill with my Mother's things. It has an S on one side and a 4O4 on the other side. Its an orange-round-flat pill with the letter E, & numbers 404 on one side. The other side has an X or + like in order to quarter the pill and only take One 1/4 of the thing. ? what is it for. Does Actavis still make Verapamil / Calan in 40mg tablets? ## Actavis has been purchased by Teva Pharmaceuticals, and they produce a 40mg Verapamil with the WATSON logo over the number 404, which is round, and orange.
