I took these tablet for approximate 4 months. Since november I am switched to enalapril maleate 10 mg and amlodipine besylate. I also realize that I have been experiencing elevated pulse reading which is over 80 sometimes and this morning at one 108 then it came back down to 77. What do I do. ## Hello, Maxi! How are you? i m suffering from skin rashes and itching in palms and foots ends due to dose of zoxan how to cure it?? ## Hello, Lavleen! How are you doing? If that's the extent of the allergic reaction you had to the medication, then it's most likely just going to take some time to clear up on its own. But have you consulted your doctor to make sure that's what has caused it? If it's due to some other medical issue, treatment might be required.

I have had 3 Prolia injections. I was diagnosed with Osteoporosis when I had a severe fracture of my ankle. I knew I had Osteopenia but had to stop Fosamax due to severe foot cramping. The first cycle of Prolia I was fine. The second cycle I experienced horrible relux problems about 1 month out from injection - this continued for several months. Then I broke out in a rash on my back - very itchy - scratched til it bled. Dermatologist swears it cannot be from the Prolia. Well the rash calmed down on my back and I went ahead with the third injection in April. Within weeks my back started itching and now its in my scalp itchy plaque like lesions - GROSS! I will not get another of these injections. I don't think anyone knows what this drug does. I have not had a followup Dexa scan yet. ...

I have been taking Nuvigil pretty consistently for about a 2 month period now for OSA, and have noticed what look like bug bites or hives popping up here and there on my body. I have anxiety disorder as well, and have had allergies since I moved to this area. I have had hives in the past due to both of these conditions, so I am not sure if it is just related to allergies or anxiety. Naturally, after reading the potential side effects for Nuvigil, I have some concern. It is not SJS (From the pictures I have seen), but I am not sure if the Nuvigil is contributing to the hives that have been popping up randomly. Has anyone else experienced this? Any help is greatly appreciated. ## Hello, Sandman! How are you? If they are similar to the ones you've gotten before, then it this is most li...

rash on face, cheeks and forehead ## Just finished my third week on Viibryd been on 40 mgs for four days and now have a red rash on my face. Should I stop taking it? ## It may be the sign of an allergic reaction, but since it's isolated to your face, it's difficult to say. Have you contacted your doctor? That would be the best thing to do, so you can discover if it's due to the medication or something else. You can learn more Viibryd details here. ## I have a dr appt on friday. Don't know what to try if he takes me off this. ## I have been on Viibryd since Aug 23 2012. I have had a rash on my lower legs for two months. The rash has now on my back and bottom. I have tried everything I can think of to stop the itching. I was prescribed to antibiotics by my doctor and different creams. Nothing has helped. It is now nearly three months with this problem. Will deselex help? ## Hello, Charmaine! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're experiencing. It may help, it is an antihistamine that's used to treat or prevent allergic reactions. The U.S. FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth. Have you tried changing your laundry detergent? Or trying a different skin soap? It could be something like that causing the rash.

I developed a rash on my legs when I went for my physio. It is now nearly all over and it itches and makes the rash worse when I scratch. I am on a lot of meds for arthritis, heart and blood pressure. ## What medications do you take? There is a chance that it might be due to one of them. If you can post back with the names of them, I can check the side effect information on them provided by the NIH reports. It could also be an allergic reaction to something. What type of physio procedures did they do?

After two years on apixaban I have developed an itchy rash. It's subsurface and is most intense around my waist. My doctor wants me to change to xarelto. I am delaying starting another blood thinner until the rash subsides. Can anyone share their experience with these symptoms and their solution ? Thanks. ## While this medication is listed by the FDA as causing a rash as a side effect, or as a possible allergic reaction, it is odd that it would appear after 2 years of taking it, though we are all different, and I am not a doctor. How long have you been off of it, now? There is a chance of your experiencing rebound effects, such as blood clots, if you stop it abruptly, without switching to a different medication, according to NIH warnings, so it is best to be careful and follow your ...

I have been on depakote for 5 years. 3 months ago I got a small rash and went to the Dr. She treated with hydroxizine with no success for 2 months then referred me to a dermapathologist. The dermapathologist looked at it and said it was stevens Johnson syndrome and to stop the depakote which I did. He gave me a shot of kenalog, singulair, and topical steroids. As of yesterday the rash is still spreadi g out of control. Any ideas? I'm desperate, tried every OTC potion cream and pull. ## How long ago did you receive the shot? The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and drowsiness. Are you on any other medications? Has there been any change? What other medications have you tried? Have you gotten a second opinion?

I took macrobid for a UTI. On the last day I thought I had the flu. Chills, fever, exhaustion, a little nausea and a little pain. The second day of the flu I went to the doctor, and noticed I had a rash developing on my legs. We thought the rash was unrelated to the flu. Two days later the rash is very severe, with purplish spots and climbing up my body. The doctor said he did not advise any steroids but now I'm a little worried. They made an appointment for me for with a dermatologist four days from now but I'm afraid I'll be permanently disfigured by then. Also my ears are ringing. Should I go to an urgent care center? It's Friday night and the doctor will be unavailable over the weekend. ## The FDA does list a non-allergic skin rash as being a possible side effect of ...

what does the rash that a person might get while on this med look like? ## It depends on why they are getting the rash. If it's a side effect rash, it usually just looks like a systemic rash that covers a large portion of the body, but it isn't itchy and doesn't include hives. However, an allergic rash will usually be itchy and cause hives. The FDA lists the other typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, insomnia, nervousness and anorexia. Have you consulted your doctor? They should be able to let you know what has caused the rash. ## I have been on Contrave for 2 weeks. I didn't have any side effects until I started taking 2 pills a day. I have been taking a half of a Lortab 7.5 for a long time now. I am up to 1 and a half a day. I have this rash on my legs, bottom and chest. Little bumps on my chest and big red blotches on my legs that itch. How can I find out what a rash from Lortabs look like? ## Missy, I also have been taking generic lortab 10/500 for a few years now and within that time have developed a strange rash. Mine is mainly on my upper legs, lower stomach, chest and occasionally on my forearms. They start out as small red bumps/spots/lesions which itch a bit, grow larger (up to the size of a quarter) and flake skin off. As time passes they eventually (after a few weeks/months) go away and reappear somewhere else. At any given time I probably have about 6-10 of them in various places. I saw a dermatologist 3...

Hi, I know I'm not allergic to paracetomol but rashes started to appear when I took pacofen, which i believe contains other ingredients. It's also iches. Is that possible I'm allergic to the combinations that are present in pacofen? ## Yes, the active ingredients in Pacofen are Caffeine, Codeine and Paracetamol, so you might be allergic to one of the others, though the Codeine is the most likely culprit. It's also possible that you are allergic to one of the inactive ingredients. Have you consulted your doctor?

I was wondering if anyone else has taken this medication and if they got a rash. How bad was it and how did you cope ? ## Hello, Susan! How are you? Yes, that is listed as one of the more serious and most common side effects of it, though it's noted that it rarely resulted in dose changes or stopping of the medication. It is usually reversible. Have you consulted your doctor to see what they advise that you do for it?

I am taking 100mg every 12 hrs for 7 days, i have only taken two pills, but am starting to develop a skin rash. Should i be worried? I know i may just be paranoid, but i want to check it out. ## Hello, Carol! How are you? While it is always best to have such a symptom checked out, a non-allergic skin rash can be a typical side effect of most antibiotics. As listed by the FDA, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache and diarrhea. Do you have any hives, swelling or itching? ## Just some itching. But not horrible. Ive got the pretty common side effect then ive experienced major headaches.
