R P 10 325 Fake

I've read where people say it's IMPOSSIBLE to fake the yellow 10/325 percocet and whoever believes that is sadly mistaken. The biggest sign is that sometimes the yellow is a little worn or the pill had white spots on it. The second is that the instant the water hits your mouth they almost instantly dissolve and you can hardly swallow the chalk in your mouth. The third and most important sign is this: if you hold a prescription pain killer up to the light it had a sort of gloss/sheen to it. The fakes do not have this. The only exception would be if the pills were REALLY old they may have lost their sheen. But for me, that is the biggest thing. Fakes are rare, but don't be so naive. INVESTIGATE. People are crazy. ## While it may be good to know the difference between fake tabl...

Is there a over the counter med that looks like a yellow watson 10/325 norco? ## To my knowledge there aren't any OTC medications that look similar, as this particular yellow Norco pill is unique to Watson. If there's any pills that come remotely close, I'd imagine them to be Mucinex DM or Guaifenesin + pseudoephedrine tablets. Do you have any reason to believe you may have received a fake pill from someone? ## No, I want my girl friend off norcos.I think its all in her head.I want something that wont hurt her like a vitiman. After a couple of weeks tell her I switched them and prove its only in her head. Placebo effect. Thanks ## I will begin by stating that regardless of your intentions, it is morally, and legally wrong to willfully switch a persons medication especially th...

There are a couple of untrustworthy people that my wife hangs around with who are constantly stealing my percocet 10/325. I am seraching for a decoy that will be useless to them the next time they steal them. I can't find anything from a u.s. pharmacy that will do the trick. Are there any foreign pharmacies or over the counter products who make what i need? ## @Jim, It sounds like your best bet would probably be to get a hidden video camera/recorder set up so you can see and hear exactly who's taking your medicine. Stealing a prescription is a federal offense, so showing evidence to the police should enable them to put a warrant out for this person's arrest. Unfortunately there's no other legitimate pharmaceutical pills that look alike since the markings are so unique he...

I recently picked up some 10/325 Percocet and the imprint looks legit but the pills break apart extremely easy. They're either very old or fake. I notice that immediately around the edges looks really rough...almost like they went through the washer or something. Is there an easy way to tell the difference between old pills and fake pills? I can break them with my hand really easily but it seems like you'd be able to do this if they were put in water or something. ## If you got them from a pharmacy they are legimate. Sometimes the appearance and consistency of medications change with different manufacturers. ## Sounds like the ones that just about took my life. If they didn't come from a pharmacy then its definitely not worth the risk of your life! The edges have a bit of a ...

There are some pills going around that say percocet 10 325 on them but are clearly not. Where do these come from? ## Hello, Wondering one! How are you? As to your question, I have to say that your guess is as good as anyone else's. There are always people out there creating fake pills to try to milk people out of money. There are also foreign sources that aren't reliable for sending what people actually order. Where did you see them? The FDA classifies Percocet as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## We all wish we knew that on here! Those are very bad pills and have killed a lot of ppl. Almost killed me! They are light yellow, slightly thicker than real...

A friend of mine had some of these and they made her sick. I had to have her stomach pumped. We saw on this website where these were fake pills. Is there any truth to this? ## Hi Melissa, A white oblong shaped pill with M523 on one side and 10/325 on the back is reportedly identified as a generic Acetaminophen + Oxycodone HCL tablet, made by Mallinckrodt. For verification, you can visit the following National Drug Code link: 0406-0523 Having said this, her pill does fit the description of a real product... However if she isn't going through her doctor to obtain a prescription then they could be anything pressed and shaped to look like something real. I'm not insinuating that this is the case here, but she shouldn't have to question their legitimacy if she filled a prescripti...

I'm seeing it all over the news and elsewhere on this site but it looks like fake yellow tablets with PERCOCET and 10/325 inscribed on them are becoming more common. Sadly on Wednesday news outlets have reported deaths from bad tablets circulating in Georgia. Everyone is urged to be extremely careful and of course, ensure that prescriptions are being filled through licensed pharmacies. And this goes without saying, but anyone who obtains tablets matching the above description from unscrupulous individuals are taking a big risk to their health and possibly life. "In recent days, the drugs ... have led to dozens of overdoses and as many as four deaths in south and central Georgia" [1] - one main problem is that it has become more commonplace for pill presses to be easily obtai...

My roommate keeps taking my medication. Finally I started hiding it. I think she may have found my meds took some and replaced what she took with pressed or fake M/523. The one I think is real doesn't rub off on my hand when I handle them. When I line up the pills all face up with the M/523 showing and then flip them over all the same way, some of the imprints on the back are upside down and some right side up. Question, are all pills manufactured identically or can the imprints sometimes get mixed up? ## I just obtained my monthly script from Wally World (degenerative disk disease). I thought that Itd b the M523 but, no instead she handed me a bottle of the RP 10/325 oxycodone hydrochloride. Man what a rip off ! Walmart sux!!!! Is this a real Percocet or a fake one? I've never saw a yellow one say 10/325 on one side and M532 on other side. It is oblong. ## @Byrd, I think the bottom line is if you didn't get your prescription filled through a licensed pharmacy then it could literally be anything. Pill press machines are making it possible for just about anyone to make copies using whatever ingredients they please. So the only reliable way to ensure legitimacy is by following the system. You can also contact the manufacturer (Mallinckrodt) directly at 800-778-7898 and ask them if they recently started producing a yellow oblong version of the tablet. Just a side note: My findings indicate that M 532 Percocet (5/500mg) is a red and white capsule with "M 532" in black ink on each side of it. Also, i...

How can you tell a real 7.5/325 from a fake one? Is there any tests you or your pharmacy could do? Thank you! ## Hello, Arlene! How are you? No, the only way to be sure, if you didn't obtain it from a licensed U.S. pharmacy, would be to pay to have it lab evaluated somewhere. Are there any markings on the tablet in question? That information would enable to check more details on it for you, such as if there are known fakes. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## I've gotten two different ones before that I thought and knew were fake. RP 7.5 - 325... Fake or not fake ??? ## Hello, Seesa! How are you? This is manufactured by Rhodes Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 7.5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, which is a generic for Percocet. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## IS RP 10 325 A HYDROCODONE OR OXYCODONE? I take Percocet all the time every 6 hours. This time i noticed the pill was round instead of oblong and has 230 on one side. This pill is worthless, I feel absolutely nothing. NO PAIN RELIEF AT ALL. This pill is a fake, a sugar pill or something. I paid $91 dollars cash for this, now i'm broke with no medication. There is no medical properties in this pill what so ever. I've been ripped off like some common drug pusher. How do I live now? The first thing I should do is call the FBI, then the FDA and the police too. ## What do I do? who cares?,Whom do I contact next? signed left in pain. How can you tell if a Vicodin 10/325 Is real? It is easier to snap in half than usual. Does that make a difference? Is there any other way to determine if they are real or not? On one side there's a V and on the other side is 36|01. They are also yellow in color. ## @Babyface, Re: "How can you tell if a Vicodin is real?" Well, first things first, I think anyone getting their meds via a doctor's prescription from a licensed pharmacy shouldn't have to worry if they're real. Licensed pharmacies don't dispense fake medication, even though they do dispense ineffective brands/generics more often than they'd probably like to admit. On the other hand, if for some reason you're not obtaining your meds in this fashion, I'm afraid the only honest way to know...

10/325 on one side and m325 on the other. How can I tell if it is real? ## Hello, Lou! How are you? If you received it from a legitimate licensed U.S. pharmacy, then there is no need to worry. However, if it was obtained from some other source, there is no way to know what you may have received and it would be best to dispose of them. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Pills are oval shinny yellow with a Percocet printed on one side and when broken they have white speckes ## How can I tell if it's real? It's yellow, oblong with Percocet imprinted on one side and 10/325 on the other ## Other than filling your prescription at a licensed pharmacy, a content analysis by a professional lab seems like the only viable way to tell if something's real. Counterfeits can mimic looks, shapes, tastes, etc... but only a lab analysis will show the correct ingredients. Drug panel kits sold OTC at head-shops or pharmacies are another means of figuring out if something contains an opiate or not. However these kits may be more susceptible to false readings in comparison to the higher standards of GC/MS (Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry) that a lab posses...

How can you tell if you have a bad percocet 10mg/325 pill? Anyway to test to make sure they are good? ## Hey Bob; thats a real good question. and the sad part is they come in all shapes and sizes based on the manufacturer and brand...overall the will be a long a oblong shape pill with the numbers clearly written on it. except in the case of watson where it says watson right on it... another way to determine a real one from the fake one is by the price. if you see a ridiculous price like $2 ($60 for 30) a pill chances are you getting a placebo...the average cost of 30 pills is anywhere from $500 to $700. anywhere in that price range you know that you are good. ## 500 to 700 bucks for 10/325 percocet? ## People are making fake a333 and others... watch out ## Yep, I know for a fact because...

I've recently heard that a certain pharmacy is under investigation for distributing fake meds. Well I recently got some percocet 10/325 and they have a high shine coating that tastes sweet. This is funny because they usually taste terrible. Has something changed? FYI - they relieve some of my pain but not completely like before and it seems like I am having slight withdrawals symptoms; runny nose, yawning a lot. ## Some manufacturers do use sweetened coatings to help prevent that horrible taste and to protect your stomach from the harshness of some medications. What are the markings on these ones? That is what would enable me to double check the details for you. Can you please post back and clarify? Thank you! The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit formin...

I have taken many generic Percocet 10-325 made by different companies. Different size/shape/color. But these 4829 v seem to be stronger for some reason. Been taking pain meds for 30 years. So I know side effects are different sometimes. I have been light headed/anxious/hot/cold when I take 2. Don't have to often. But I usually stick with the every 4 hours regimen. This is the first time I have used this brand for my pain. Any suggestions? ## Has your doctor instructed you to take 2 of them? It is entirely normal to experience more side effects, if you raise your dosage. The FDA does list those as being normal side effects, you may also experience nausea, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Are you on any other medications? How often are you supposed to take them?

I don't think my Norco is real. It does not feel like it is working and I am having w/d symptoms. It's small, white and round. The markings are RX 497. I've heard that fake pills are making it into the states from overseas and I think mine is fake. Has anyone else experienced this problem? ## Hello, JBT! How are you? This tablet is listed as containing 10mgs of Hydrocdone and 325mgs of Acetainophen. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. There can be slight fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredients from one generic to another, so this one may be slightly lower than the prior one that you were tak...
