Hi I am 31 year old female ..I have been taking quitipin for 3 years I don't have schizophrenia nor am I bipolar .. I was severely depressed I started at 100mg prescribed and reduced it to 25mg myself . It's been a wk I have stopped it .. Can u pls tell me what is likely to be the effects of stopping the medicine? ## Stopping it could result in rebound depression, anxiety, fever, chills and pain, according to NIH reports. Are you on any other medications? Why are you stopping it? Did it help your depression? What side effects did you experience? How are you feeling, now?

My mother is daibetic patiant , She was having some breathing problem therefore she was admitted to hospital, She also having some problem of Physco in her mind, She was first treated for her sugar and her breathing problem , Thereafter she was seen by a phycretic who had prescribed her RIVOTRIL ( O.5) 0-0-1/4 AND QUITIPIN (50) 1/2-0-1/2. After taking this she went in long sleep . she was unconsious for 5 to 6 days and even her Kidneys was silence . now she is on dialysis. pl suggest what to do

my brother was recognized the brain desease schizophrenia in the mont of march. right now he under the treatment from CIP ,RANCHI, INDIA. he presently all right.but doctors says he wiill have to contiue with the medicine for more years. is the above mentioned medicine is ok? how effective it is?

I am a doctor but not a psychiatrist my relative was taking quitipin for 2 years along with sertraline she was suffering from anxiety disorder. She stopped sertraline after 1 and half year and then quitipin after 2 years. It was stopped suddenly and then she had insomnia for 3 weeks , she also went through a very stressful period after that in her family life. Now she find it difficult to handle any stress and is not working at the moment. She has abnormal reactions to situation where she gets hurt excessively. SHould she start quitipin again? With or withou sertraline. She is not depressed but dealing with home situations too. What would be best for her. ## Has she consulted a doctor? My father taking quitipin 50 mg at night. Due to parelesis attach 3 times a year. ## my mother after CVA has been paralysed, fluent aphasia and schizophrenic disorder.she is on cutipin 50bd &arpiz 5 od.still she is very restless during day time.Is there a better option?

My father has been taking 25mg or 12.5 mg quitipin at bed time for last 8 months.. For last couple of weeks he has been feeling very lazy and very low in energy..:-(.. Is this due to qutipin?? Other doc asked to quit qutipin..but now he can not have a gud sleep at night..:( also headache is his all time complain..since he has started taking this medicine.. My mother has been on depakote 500mg tablet (1 every night) and quitipin 50mg ( 1 every nght) for 2 years now. She is constantly worried though not panicked. She talks to her self sometimes more than other times and hears voices constantly. Most of the time she is upset with the voices and other times she is peaceful with them. What are these medications for and how do they work in tandem with each other. Also any idea what it is my mother is suffering from, cause no one tells me. They just say she has a chemical imbalance and nothing more. Schezophrenia is taboo in India so no one tells me whats going on with her. I am 22 years old and I have been on the following antipsychotic drugs for the past five years: Quitipin 25Mg (1) + Lamitor 50Mg (2) + Venlift 75Mg (1) + Bupron 50Mg (1). I had a few incidents in school due to which I was hospitalized for hyperventilation. My psychiatrist diagnosis was that I have bipolar disorder. Considering the amount of information that I have read online and from books and various posts on support groups, I'm not quite sure if I still have bipolar disorder or something else. I take five tablets a day and I feel like I've been on these tablets for way too long. I'm stable, I've just completed my masters and I'm going to start my career. My daughter has been taking sizopine 125mg in night and pacidone 2 mg in the morning since last 3 1/2 months. She was taking Quitipine 450mg and risdone Ls 1 in morning and 1 at night from june 2010 to dec 25,2012. She is ok but she has drousines in the morning and get up only 10am. She has slight symptom of muttering and laughing during evening time and sometime she sees ghost ie after image.. She is doing 1st year computer engineering. she is not able to concentrate fully on studies. How do we tackle this situation and how do we give confidence to my daughter. ## Drousiness is not worrying. But you need to take her to daily activity and start talking while she goes to bed in night. It is very important. Mental strength is very-very important.

My mother was given elicia 4mg by her doctor. At a later stage she was asked to take it twice a day. She kept losing weight after that and was hospitalised because her sodium levels dropped. What is elicia 4 mg used for. Now the same doctor has changed the medication to mirtaz 7.5 mg, quitipin .75 mg and zolax .5 mg. but she is stil not at all comfortable with the same ## I have been taking Sulpitac 50 mg for one year time and now my Psychiatrist suggested me to take Elicia 4mg from November 5th onwards.Please clarify me for what purpose the Elicia 4mg is given and can I come out of this tablet totally?

After using Sulpitac-200, my blood sugar levels have been increased and are uncontrollable, even though I am using tablets for Diabetes type-2, when I told to Psychiatrist, she told me to consuls endocrinologist but, she didn't reduce the dose, even I am doing perfect. I have been addicted to Sulpitac-200 while I am using Quitipin-100 for more than 6 years, now am perfect without any problems of psyzophrenia except insomnia since 2002.

hello, I am having the Seizure disorderes with myoclinic seizures and have been consulting many neurologist for this issue, I am having this issue since last 10 years and my father also had this issue. I have been having Encorate Chrono 300 and now another doctor recommended me to have Valcontin 200 MG morning and night after food along with Clonotril 0.5 and Quitipin 25, Even after consuming many different tablets the myoclinic seizure is very much re-occuring and I am tired of consulting multiple doctors. Iam using Oxmazetol 600mg BD. Since 2 years. But Now iam facing problem of memory loss. Dear sir, This is regarding my Father who is 73 yrs. of age. My father met with an accident 3 yrs back with multiple hemotoma on Back & front lobe & was in ICU for almost 15 days .Since then we had been administering him alopathic medicines which responded well initially but in later stages the recovery process stopped & is in same position for almost 2 years now.We still are giving him Syndopa Plus ( 3 times)& Algil 5 ( 2 Times) daily .
