I'm wondering if anyone has switched from the brand wellbutrin to the generic buprop 24 and has noticed a difference. It seems to me that my depression is returning on the generic - or is it just my imagination? ## No, it is not likely just your imagination. There can be fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredient between the name brand and the generic. The FDA does allow them to differ by as much as plus, or minus 20%. For most people, these differences aren't significant and don't cause any problems. However, if you have been taking the brand name for a long time, or a sensitive to medications, then any slight variation may cause you some problems. Have you discussed the issue with your doctor? You might want to have them write your prescription as 'brand medic...

hello i keep feeling dizzy when being on this medication.. i heard that i wasn't suppose to have any side effects. is there a liquid form of this and does it have side effects ## All medications carry the risk of side effects, even over the counter products. Zolpidem, the active ingredient in Ambien is very well known to cause side effects, some of which can be quite problematic, so the dizziness is not unusual. Have you spoken to your doctor about it?

I am very sorry about the problem that you've run into. You are not the first to complain about Prolia and I am expecting many more still to follow, it just doesn't seem to work well for many people. VA doc has me on 2xwellbutrin hcl 150mg SA (VA Product)tabs a day - been on for 20 days. Side effects are kicking my butt. He said I can quit by taking 1 tab in the morning for 3 days and then just quitting - sounds 'cold turkey' to me. He also agreed that if I wanted to I could cut my dose back to a single tab in the AM. I see him again on June 9. Am I correct that 'SA' tabs cannot be divided? If I was going taper it seems that would be the way to go but I've read you not supposed to divide them. PERIOD! Also taking 2-1/2 5mg Valium tabs daily - will be dropping back to 2 a day in about 10 days ## Hello, Skip! How are you? That is correct, you cannot cut, crush or chew time released medications, because that could result in overdose from your getting too much of the...

My father is in cardiac intensive care following bypass surgery and has been given this drug. I'm trying to find out more information about this drug. thanks, Jenny ## My mother is in ICU as well and she is on a propolol drip. It is used for persons who are intubated and allows for assisted ventilation without a decrease in cardiac output. The downside is that there is an associated drop in blood pressure when the propolol is increased. Generally the drug seems to be used for such anesthctic purposes in ICU when patients need to be calm and passive. Hope this helps, and that your father is better. ## My wife sufers the Crest Syndrome for more than ten years. Hes condition is stable. The worst part is the accumulation of calcium in her fingers. Dear Sir/Madam, I have noticed that you have a listing for Acyclovir. We have a new product available called Herstat Cold sore Treatment, this product includes Propolis as one of it's ingredients - I was wondering if it'd be possible for us to provide you with some information, so that you might be able to create a Propolis or Herstat section? Kind regards, James Booker DTC Healthcare ## Hello, James! How are you? This website primarily provides information for actual prescription drugs, which are available in the U.S., though we also have some from other countries, as well. When you say Propolis, are you referring to the substance from honey bees, which has no actual medical approved use? is it safe to take wellbutrin and prozac together ## They can be used together, however, it may increase the risk of seizures, so a doctor does have to carefully consider the dosage that is used, because the higher the dosage of Wellbutrin/Bupropion, the greater the risk involved. These medications may cause other side effects, such as: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and weight gain. More details: Are there any other comments or questions? ## About 3 wks ago I started taking generic wellbutrin 100 mg twice a day. I am still having crying episodes, getting upset easily and having trouble sleeping. I am feeling like I either need a dose increase or to add a different medication along with the wellbutrin. I liked Cymbalta a lot....except for the side effects. Does anyone have any ideas? ## ...

I have had 3 Prolia injections. I was diagnosed with Osteoporosis when I had a severe fracture of my ankle. I knew I had Osteopenia but had to stop Fosamax due to severe foot cramping. The first cycle of Prolia I was fine. The second cycle I experienced horrible relux problems about 1 month out from injection - this continued for several months. Then I broke out in a rash on my back - very itchy - scratched til it bled. Dermatologist swears it cannot be from the Prolia. Well the rash calmed down on my back and I went ahead with the third injection in April. Within weeks my back started itching and now its in my scalp itchy plaque like lesions - GROSS! I will not get another of these injections. I don't think anyone knows what this drug does. I have not had a followup Dexa scan yet. ...

I've been using the coupon program to get my brand Wellbutrin XL 300mg for $100/month for the past couple years. This past refill in January the pharmacy said the coupon program had changed and if your insurance doesnt pay anything at all toward the rx, which mine doesnt, then the coupon wont either, making it full price if I want it. Anyone else having this problem? ## The current coupon on the Wellbutrin XL manufacturer's savings site is only a copay savings coupon, it is not intended to help with the cost of the full prescription, and it is only intended to be used by each individual for 12 months. Unfortunately, they are not obligated to offer coupons, at all, and many companies stop doing so, once a generic is available for the medication they manufacture. If your pharmacy ...
