does akyma prenatal plus have gelatin, if so what is the source? is there any multi vitamin that does not contain any animal products? thanks ## @latif, Based on my research, Akyma (also known as Amneal) Pharmaceuticals discontinued their prenatal plus tablets some time ago. However I did come across a list of inactive ingredients and apparently it does contain gelatin sourced from porcine, which is pork. You can view more details about it here if you scroll down to the Prenatal Plus section: prd02.apsiva.net/catalog/servlet/com.apsiva.servlet.pc.PCHomeServlet?task=login And as far as vegan multivitamins are concerned, from personal experience I would suggest looking into brands like Garden of Life, since all their products are raw and plants based. I hope this helps!

Is the vitamin (NDC# 44946-1045-01) Pnv Prenatal 27-1 Mg the same as (NDC# 69543-0258-10) Preplus 27-1 Mg? ## Unfortunately I haven't been able to locate any information on the second NDC # that was provided. However, the first National Drug Code of 44946-1045 is in fact associated with Pnv Prenatal Plus Multivitamins... If it's of any help though, the NDC of 76439-258 just so happens to be another National Drug Code associated with Preplus 27-1. When you click on the highlighted NDC links (above) it will direct you to a page with more specific details for that particular supplement/medication. Upon doing so, you'll be able to see that both the active & inactive ingredients are conveniently listed for comparison. Hope this helps!

Are the prenatal G12 pills suitable for vegetarians? ## Hi Jack, Because it's not listed on the product packaging, it would be difficult to know where the ingredients were sourced from without contacting the manufacturer directly. However, being primarily vegan myself... I would probably try to steer clear of products that don't state their sources on the box. Have you heard of a company called Garden of Life (Vitamin Code)? They also have a Raw Prenatal multivitamin w/ iron, except theirs is verifiably raw, vegetarian, gluten-free & dairy-free. It's about $40 for a two month supply. Definitely worth checking out! I hope this helps!

Brown oblong pill; no scoring; no imprints: prenatal vitamins? ## I'm trying to compare the prenatal vitamins my doctor prescribed for my 1st and current pregnancy. I was taking Natelle Plus. It is a pink oblong pill that has a P and 112 printed on it. Along with it in the same little foil packet is pinkish/redish liquid gel capsule. Currently I'm taking the Prenatal Plus tablets. On that is printed G12. It seems it has too much A and some herbs that concerns me. How do you think these compare? Also at the time I took the Natelle Plus there was not a generic and it was very expensive. What compares to the Natelle Plus because I really liked them? Thank you so much for your help.
