However, once they bottles have been opened, such as by your pharmacy or doctor and dispensed to you in a separate container to fill your prescription, this changes to 1 year, after which time, they start to lose potency. I have been prescribed pontolon mefenamic acid 500mg for elbow bursitis. Is this a this a good cure ## I hurt my front teeth due to biting hard food and now my gum is swollen and painful. Hi, I'm from Malaysia. I have hypertension and diabetes and have been on medication since April 2014. Ever since i started the medication, (Metformin 500mg + Amlodipine 10mg), my periods have been irregular. until last November, my period did not come at all. I spoke to my doctor about this and he said the cause may be my medication as stated above. I waited until my period came on 9th Feb and it never stopped since (36 days). The flow is heavy with clots, bright red. I went to my doctor again, and he did nothing, asked me to wait till it clears before he can do further diagnostics. Worried of my condition, I went to a local clinic and the doctor gave me Duphaston 10mg + Pontalon 500mg to take for the next 5 days. My doctor prescribed me pontalon 500mg, 1 tablet 3 times a day for my migraine for 4 days.
