Was using for very bad migraines, my pa no longer prescribes them to me, I really need them. I'm not addicted, I only take them when needed, so what should I do? I also use them for bad toothaches. ## Hi Shandra, Sorry to hear about your situation with migraines. Seeing as you're no longer being prescribed hydrocodone, my advice would be to try out some other alternatives. According to Dr. Oz, ginger tea, peppermint oil, and capsaicin cream (cayenne pepper) make for excellent migraine remedies. My research also yielded results for black cumin seed oil (nigella sativa) that you can simply apply on the back of your neck, over your eyes and at the hairline for relief. Nigella sativa also doubles as a toothache remedy. Though I'd also encourage you to try clove oil for that. The...

When I first started picking up my Lortab 10/500 from my pharmacy, it was in pink tablet form. I asked the pharmacist why it was pink, and was told that it was a generic brand. I was also told that it was not as "effective" (potent-wise) as some other colors 10/500 came in. I asked which color had the most effectiveness for overall pain and was told the purple tablets were. After switching to the purple Lortab 10/500 tablets, I noticed a considerable difference in pain relief and duration. Actually, they look more like a bluish-purple. ## Hi Herman, It is true that generic brands are not as effective as brand name medications, generic medications are allowed (by the FDA) to contain up to 20% more or less of the actual active ingredients. This factor, along with different inactiv...

pink oval v 3600 ## It hurts to pee, getting a burning sensation. I took two, they were pink OUCH! ## This tablet contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen and 10mgs of Hydrocodone. This is a very strong, narcotic pain reliever, with high addictive potential. Taking two of these at once is NOT SAFE. As to the burning when you urinate is possibly a urinary infection and this does not contain an antibiotic, so it will not help to get rid of it. I suggest you see a doctor.

i have a severe back problem and go to a pain clinic for pain management. I use Qualitest Hydrocodone 10/500 (pink) for years for break through pain. I know they had to go to 10/325 but what I want to know is do they make the exact same pill except for the acetominaphen part. I have tried the white and I have tried the 10/500 Watson which is not blue but white and they just don't work. I just want the same makeup as the Qualitest that I have taken for years and even if the 2nd part is cut down I could add back a tylenol to it to get that 2nd part. I am not afraid of it I just need some pain relief and the pink ones did it for me and neither white or Watson white, they just don't work. Please help me and lead me in the right direction ## Hello, Louise! How are you? No, I'm so...

I have a bright pink pill w orange\yellow powder. It is supposed to be a very strong norco but I'm not 100% Sure what it is?? Any advice? Or help ## Are there any markings on it? If not, then that means it's going to be difficult to determine exactly what the capsule contains. Norco contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone, it's not available in capsules on the manufactured pharmaceutical market, it's only available as tablets. Learn more Norco details here. If it contains these ingredients and is in an unmarked capsule, it would have to be a dosing that was specially ordered by a doctor and done by a compounding pharmacy….however, the color of the powder makes me doubt that, because it's usually a white or off-white substance. That is why the tablets are white, ...

I take Qualitest 10/500 pink hydrocodone. My pharmacy has told me that Qualitest will no longer be making this. I have tried other 10/500 pills to no avail. Qualitest is the only manufacturer that works on my pain . Does Qualitest offer another size ? ## Hello, Ted! How are you doing? Actually, after the first of the year (2014), none of the manufacturers will be making this dosage, anymore. Due to the risks of liver damage or failure that can occur with long-term use of high amounts of Acetaminophen, as well as the overdose fatalities that have occurred with these medications, the FDA has requested that all combination prescription products be lowered to contain no more than 325mgs of Acetaminophen, per dose. How can you tell if a pill is time released or not. The pill identifier doesn't say. I have 2 strengths of hydrocodone acetaminophen. One is 10/500 and the other is 5/500. Lost directions and don't have the doctor anymore. I can't swallow pills and want to crush and put in applesauce to take. have a pink almost oval pill with M or W on one side, the other side just has a slash down middle, possibly foreign. my mom says it is hydrocodone 10, any idea. ## Hi, Lowwey! Where did you find it? I've done some searching, but haven't found anything that matches this, so far. If it's foreign, that could explain, since most other countries don't have an imprint requirement like the U.S. and Canada. Does anyone else recognize this tablet? I used this treatment for more than three years. For almost a year the color of this treatment was pink but it was very expensive. I have been changed to the same treatment, but cheaper medicine, the color is light blue. I went to another pharmacy and they told me the treatment colors vary (white). My question is, is there a difference between them and are any of them better than the other? ## Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen is a generic, one of the name brands for it would be Vicodin. And when something is available as a generic, it's usually made by several different companies and there are no rules on how the tablets have to look, or what color they have to be. That's entirely up to the whit and whim of the manufacturer. Learn more Vicodin details here. There is also no way to...
