## hi just wanted to find out.... is Pinamox caps 500mg Amoxicillin safe to take for pregnant women.....??? Our doctor adviced it to my wife couse she is pregnant.... But my wife aware of it couse of baby..... So can you tell me will it harm the baby or mamy or it wont harm....???? thank you... regards ali... ## If your doctor said it is safe, then there is no need to worry. While some does make it through to the baby, antibiotics are generally not harmful to the fetus. The are often given routinely in women who test positive for Strep B, by IV, right during delivery, to prevent the baby being blinded by the Strep virus.
